This is the saddest fight in my opinion. Loma was robbed by haeny and juges. I never see again his fight because he retired after this fight. He was so disappointed. He is a champion in my mind foever!
40:13 as a Loma fan, he would have won if he had the same dominance in 12 as in 11 and 10. Super close all around but don’t disagree with decision.

People in comments dont understand how to score boxing. Score it as a neutral and you might start making some sense. Was it a close fight? Yes. Was it a robbery? Absolutelt not. Only 2 rounds loma was very dominant. My score has haney 1 up by a draw wouldnt of been awful. But to say its a robbery is just being a baby and clearly loma fan or haney hater.

This is the 2nd time watching this match. The first rounds were very close. After those rounds I never saw Loma get hit that hard, where there were numerous times you saw Haney head snap back and then move back. This match was definitely stolen from Loma.

God Loma has got to be the most frustrating boxer in the history of the game.. Why on Earth did he spend so long beating up school kids in the amateurs, what does a second gold medal prove?? He should've built a great resume at a time when the 130-135 division was full of great matchups.. All this silly flashy pendulum swinging doesn't work on fighters that actually know how to deal with southpaws – Linares sussed it out for good portions of the fight, Teo picked him off easy and even tho I had this fight a draw, it's kinda embarassing to see him 50/50 vs a guy like Haney. I long suspected Loma's game as style over REAL substance, the litmus test would've been a statement win over someone like Mikey Garcia, or him running through the lightweight division (Teo, Haney, Gervonta etc) but he comes up short every time! Also, he doesn't have ANY dog in him whatsoever, like an Erik Morales or a Barrera.. Do you think Barrera would've let Salido off the hook with those low blows and whined to the referee?? No, he'd out dog Salido and give it back! and I'll bet neither of these two mexican warriors engage in "mental maths on the wall training" or ice lake dipping bullshit etc.. I'm pretty sure the Morales that schooled Pacquiao would've done the same to Loma.. and now he's retired with what's actually, an embarassing pro resume
