  1. Eric, I just tried this drill with my irons and wow! It works. Reminds me of a Ferris wheel feel with my shoulders. Seems to help me get to my lead side better. However, I didn’t have the same luck with my driver. Any tips? I found dropping my arms first helped.

  2. I like this drill Eric a lot. I'm going to do about 20 reps of this every day all winter & then hit a few foam balls off the mat & see how it goes. Been working on a smooth downswing sequence & see how this goes. Thanks!

  3. As a follow up question. If I’m slightly pushing right does that mean I’m not rotating enough? Or coming in too steep? And arms don’t drop first, correct? Just let my shoulders initiate the drop?

  4. A lot of really good players never actually get over on the lead side through the ball. This has even helped me tremendously, and I've been a + handicap for years…

  5. Good stuff. Correct me if I’m wrong, but this also seems to be in line with having the leading leg, create some resistance on the downswing as opposed to breaking down.

    In other words, if the leading leg breaks down in the downswing and doesn’t provide resistance, you aren’t gonna have the crossover/whippiness/ releasing the club at impact that you need.
