When I hit driver, I focus on staying connected — that naturally brings the club slightly inside on the takeaway. From there, my thought is “wide and high.” That move gives me all the space I need to create effortless speed through the ball.
If you want to learn this move in person, join me at one of my upcoming Classic Swing Golf Schools — Nov 8 and Dec 6–7 in Dallas. Spots are filling fast, so reserve yours today!

You're definitely taking the club back inside.. but not high. That first practice swing you took has nothing to do with your actual swing.
You always say you take it back wide and high but you do neither. You take it back inside, keep your right elbow pinned to your side and then come down on plane to the hit. I don't get it.
He's EXAGGERATING the wide and high FEEL in his practice swing. You have to exaggerate feels, b/c if you don't, you won't get close to what you're trying to feel in your real swing.
I took some lessons from the genius Johnny Revolta. He used to say about the backswing: "go inwardly and upwardly"
You guys are making it so hard. Pure Zen. You hv no chance listening to these guys
Christo enter the senior pga id like to watch you play!
You are swinging the club on the only correct swing plane there is. Its shocking to the rest of the golf instruction wizards. But it is correct.
Great job!
Pure waffle.
These videos are just confusing so many golfers.
Golf is easy when you understand how to pivot correctly.
Actually it is low and flat. He used to be a wanna be Ben Hogan so I'm not sure what his Du Jour emulation is. Another YOUTUBE Self Promoter who never met a mic he didn't like 🤣
What kinda tournament play and record do you have and or do?
