Dang. Had the Astros just won the first game against the Angels, up 3 to nothing – and held on to win – they would've been in the post season instead of the Tigers. Astros has the same record as them but they held the tie breaker so it's really a shame we couldn't get it in. DAMN YOU, MIKE TROUT!! Even with all the injuries – which was the most in AL all season long – they almost got it done. Just imagine how good they'll be if we have Yordan, Pena, Meyers, Paredes, Blanco, Arrighetti, Javier, and Hader for a full season. Astros missing the post season this year is an just anomaly – not "The END OF A DYNASTY" as haters would like to believe. We'll be back… you'll see. GO STROS IN 2026!!!

But just imagine.
Suppose you were a baseball player born in Japan with extraordinary talent, with no real ties to Anaheim and not a lifelong Angels fan.
Would staying with this team really seem like the right choice?
At the very least, Ohtani gave the Angels the first chance to respond, but they never did.
Given that, the ones throwing hate at him now are either sore little brothers or outright bigots.
Rendon's contract expires next year, so if they can strengthen their team and build it up for the year after next, they may be able to make up for their slowdown in the second half of the season. Players like Adele are also developing, so I hope they do well.

2025年レギュラーシーズン終了。エンゼルスの皆さん、まずはお疲れさまでした。
結果は、去年よりひどい最下位で残念以外の何物でもないけどね。特に野手の三振の多さがなんとも。30球団で最多だもなあ。しかも、見逃し三振がスゴく目立った。あれだけ見逃し三振を繰り返してるのに、てこ入れしないコーチ陣はなんなの？来年は改善されてることを願うよ。
あとはトラウトがなあ。3割打って当たり前の人がどうしたんだろう？6年ぶりに規定打席に到達したのはいいんだけどねえ。衰えたとは思いたくない。
そういえば、結局、レンドンは全休だったなあ・・・出て来ても活躍しそうもないけど。まあ、あと１年の辛抱だ。
Wasn't enough Angels in the outfield to help my Stros make the postseason. Oh well it was a good run, let's start a new one next season.
