  1. Watching the first hole I realized that I was having much the same problem. I have been playing Mazel single length with graphite senior flex shafts. Do to health issues since June 2025 I mostly carry 6 clubs and a cane. 42" length driver, 6i, 8, PW, SW, putter, and my cane. I accepted the gapping problem between the driver and 6 iron as I cannot hit hybrids well and the 6 iron has the most pain that I can handle with strong lofted irons. When I got stronger this spring I started sometimes carrying a Tour Edge hi launch 7 fairway wood. It was such a pleasure to hit with no pain that I decide to experiment. The 6i and 8i were replaced with 11 and 15 Orlimar Escape Fairway Woods or the older style. Pleasure to hit, pain free, and longer ranges. Since I now have a gapping problem with the PW. So I switched the the PW and SW with my 9i and 54 degree Yamato and extended the length to 37.5". MY current testing is adding Lazrus 60 degree that I will probably lengthen to 37.5". This is a great combination that I can carry on most courses except my normal course which is very hilly. For that course I drop a club or 2. My back hurts when I use hand carts so I have limit the weight so I can carry and get my exercise.

  2. Why do you swing and fall backwards 2 or 3 steps….?? Ball will travel certain distance IF effectively struck…everybody thinks they are going to hit it effectively every time…not the case..!!
