Tiger Woods’ mini-golf chain has been rapidly growing across the Lone Star State, and now one Central Texas region could be getting closer to having its second course next year. New details on PopStroke’s newest massive location in the greater Austin area are being revealed.

In 2024, the Florida-based company first set plans for a $5.8 million facility in Cedar Park, a Williamson County town about 20 miles north of Austin. PopStroke’s initial Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation filing estimated that construction would be completed by July 2025, but the filing has since been updated to say it’s expected to be finished by April 2026.

Construction on the PopStroke in Cedar Park began in November 2024, per the filing. Earlier this year, the chain acquired another property that ended up opening sooner than expected.

PopStroke opened its first Austin course in August after taking over The Pitch, a former sports and entertainment complex in the Tech Ridge area. Renovations and build-out of the PopStroke were underway all summer to create the company’s signature golf courses, restaurants and conference spaces combined with new offerings like sand volleyball courts and The Pitch’s beloved pickleball courts.

PopStroke CEO Greg Bartoli confirmed at the chain’s grand opening event that he hopes to open the Cedar Park location early next year. It’s unclear why PopStroke launched the Tech Ridge-area location before the Cedar Park site. Unlike the now-opened PopStroke, which came with existing infrastructure, the upcoming location was a completely new build featuring a 13,000-square-foot facility.

PopStroke Cedar Park is slated to be much bigger than its first, with 37 outdoor mini-golf holes and an outdoor children’s playground area planned, instead of 18 holes at the Pitch. It will also have an ice cream parlor, beer garden with foosball, and more, according to a 2024 Austin Business Journal report.

Like its other locations equipped with a restaurant and bar, food and drink offerings will be available at PopStroke Cedar Park, the filing says. All filings with TDLR are subject to change at any time.
