What the hell should I be concluding from this shit? Player improvement=More distance but less spin?

I wonder what the difference would be if these 7 irons were loft adjusted to all be a normal 34-35 degrees. I’d like to see the comparison then to see a real difference in the clubhead tech.

Much tighter dispersion on the player’s irons. That should really be the takeaway here.

Don’t matter if you can’t hit the center of the face

Isn’t it on this you want to see the circle go more left to right then forward and backward? Because that means you are getting consistent distance?

    I could be wrong here.

this is literally the perfect example of when an info graphic goes wrong.

This would be really cool if I had any idea how to read this graph

The L-R dispersion on the GIs is wild. Can’t read the captions on the charts on mobile but guessing that’s something to do with mishits that affect distance.

Granted lower loft it’d tend to produce more side spin. But this is with the path zeroed out and everything else held the same between swings. That L-R dispersion is god awful.

Well Hell, If I has know I could get a robot to play for me. I’d had gone straight to the 19th hole. seriously though, which would be the best bang for the buck?

Would it be right to conclude from this that game improvement irons given an approximately 1 club advantage over blades for distance ?

And then what is the advantage of using blades (are there objective measures to ascertain ‘workability’)?

I don’t know. I got fitted and picked the clubs that felt the best to me. I don’t stress over the loft and other shit, I’ve got enough going on in my head while I’m golfing.

Go to the range and hit a shit ton of balls so you know approximately how far you hit each club and go out and do your best.

Never going to be on the tour and hopefully I break 80 some day.
