I’ve used titleist velocity before and quite liked them. Saw this stall selling golf balls at a market, this bag caught my eye because I’d heard Pro v1s are a good all round ball. These are all in relatively new condition too. I’m around a 10 hcp these days anyone got much experience with the pro v1s?
Thanks

They are good and have a soft feel. I personally like the x’s for spin, higher launch but firmer feel. Great deal for $40. I personally use one new one a round (unless I lose one) and get made fun of for it 🤣. I known at my local course as “the guy who doesn’t use pro v’s more than one round”. Mainly because I give them to people when I’m done lol.

I would hope they’re all round yeah

Should be a more spinny ball so if you already struggle with distance, the Pro v1 isn’t the ball. Also the cost at a 10 hcp is prohibitive but since you bought used that doesn’t factor here.

My real concern would be how long these sat at the bottom of a pond or in a bush. The elements do get to a ball’s performance, especially if submerged.

for that price it’s an incredible deal! I love playing the ProV’s that I find in the woods. Only been hit once!

Hopefully they weren’t fished out of a pond. There’s a few guys who dive golf course ponds and sell the balls in big bags. Sounded great to me at first then I learned that waterballs are ruined unless you get them fairly quickly and also let them dry out. Golf balls are porous and absorb water so it takes a long time for that water in the middle to evaporate

    Good price!

I found a guy locally selling Titlelist Tour practice balls. Supposedly they blems that Titlelist marks as practice and sells to premium ranges.

He was selling them for 5 cents each so I bought a thousand! Lost golfball sells them for like 50 to 75 cents each.

(They feel like any other premium Titlelist when I hit them.)

i refuse to believe you’re a 10 hcp and are asking for advice about pro v1s

“#1 Ball in Golf” – the literal tagline…

I dont pay for balls because I find way more than I lose and enough pro v1s to keep me going – but if I did- less than a dollar is a great deal

Cannot believe I’m seeing a post asking what ProV1’s are hahaha

Round balls generally perform better than those that are not. Congrats on your purchase.
