It’s wedding bells for Rachel Uchitel and Dan Donovan!
Uchitel, 50, married Donovan, 58, in front of 130 guests on December 31, 2025. The journalist is known for hosting the podcast “Miss Understood,” as well as for her extramarital affair with pro golfer Tiger Woods.
“We love our home, and it felt more intimate to host it there,” Uchitel told People of the pair’s decision to wed at home. “We just completed a major renovation, and this was the first time we’re hosting since it was finished — it truly came down to the final days before everything was ready.”
The duo’s home is on two acres of land, and the pair also said their wedding decor was partly inspired by Uchitel’s grandparents’ former New York City nightclub, El Morocco. She added, “There were subtle nods to that glamorous history throughout the décor.”
Uchitel continued, “We very much leaned into the elegance and excitement of New Year’s Eve. We wanted the night to feel warm, celebratory and full of energy — not overly formal.”
Motivational speaker Tim Storey officiated the wedding and escorted her down the aisle. As Uchitel also told People, the pair have a special relationship that goes back years. “My father passed away when I was 15, and Tim also walked me down the aisle, which made that moment especially meaningful and emotional,” she said.
The bride and groom originally connected on Bumble, but didn’t meet in person for a full year because they were each living in different states — Uchitel in New York and Donovan in Florida. Uchitel moved to Florida, and the pair once again matched on the app.

“We were friends for a few months, then stopped talking because I didn’t think I was ready to date and he wanted more. A few days later, I realized how much I missed him, agreed to go to dinner, and we’ve been together ever since,” she also told People. Donovan proposed in March 2025 on the couple’s eight-month anniversary.
Woods, 50, was married to Elin Nordegren when he was accused of having multiple affairs, including one with Uchitel, who later told Us Weekly she believes she suffered from “love addiction” at the time.

“I will say that that is a very real thing that I think people don’t have awareness about. It’s where people mistake intensity for love and people sort of look to someone else to gain credibility for not feeling credible inside,” Uchitel explained after the first episode of HBO Max’s Tiger documentary premiered in January 2021. “Something about myself, which I hope people can understand is that when somebody of a high caliber looks at you and as everyone else wants to know that person, and that [person] only wants you, that’s the ultimate kind of credibility for yourself … And how do you say no to that?”

“He said, ‘You are a love addict.’ And I was like, ‘That is a joke.’ I’m not going to go into rehab with people that have real addictions, like heroin and alcoholism or whatever, and say that I’m a love addict,” Uchitel told Us in 2021. “And he was like, ‘Come on my show, you have a problem,’ and I did it. … This was a reality show where cameras followed you, but this was rehab. And … it was brought into the light for me, what love addiction was, and that I really suffered from it.”
