Great match from two top players. But the deliberate slow play by Robertson was obviously to disrupt the concentration of Ronnie. You could see the frustration from Ronnie at 18.52 on the recording.
Neil is a top player and great to watch normally, but this is the slowest I have seen him play. Sometimes almost two minutes to take the shot. In the total time he took in the frame to take the shot, Ronnie could have produced three maximums. However it got Neil £ 500.000 and the trophy, but still I feel poor sportsmanship.

Complete gamesmanship from Robertson, absolutely no need to take so long over basic pots and safety shots.people will say we'll it worked but nobody wants to watch that.time for a shot clock to get rid of this type of tactic.
With all Ronnie's experience the last shot he had why did he not give himself at least 1 minute before taking the shot on 🤦

Robertson with his £500k jumps to the top of the 1 year list. Someone winning all of the next four events; the Wuhan open (140k) the English open(80k) the British open (100k) and the Xian grand prix (177k) would still not have caught him! The absurdity of this ranking system!!

It’s a pity Robertson slows down so much as he’s so fluent and good to watch !when he gets the negativity in his play …. he’s the pits surely Perry will get him out of it 🫢

I only saw the last frame of course, a real nail biter. Well done Neil, not the most entertaining frame I have ever seen, partly because of the extraordinary time Neil spent on playing some shots. OMG five minutes for a break of four!
Ronnie O'Sullivan messed up, he was sure to win, but his destructive play got the better of him and that was the reason for his defeat – Neil Robertson turned out to be better and deservedly so

Both players had to hit away from the touching ball, both hit the que ball in the middle pocket and the white ball stayed in the lower half of the table, both played double shots (Ronnie failed).

Talk about slow play. How does Robertson get away with taking so long before he takes a shot? Terrible tactics, slowing down a game of snooker.
