Recently started working on having a more vertical takeaway but I’m not sure it’s the right move.

My attack angle is quite shallow now and I’m having a bit of trouble closing the face at impact. Haven’t had an issue with either of those things in at least the last year. I’ve always had an inside takeaway with a shut face so I’m working on that but I’m a bit confused.
