There’s so much going on with this system, I just don’t think it’s all necessary. The imagery don’t look as good as GSPro in my opinion … my set up cost equivalent of £2500 why would you spend 45k on this!?
I'm amazed that it isn't 4K yet. Also, graphics don't look nearly as good as GSPro.
Love the moving floor and different trouble ie. sand & rough.
How far does the hitting mat and projector have to be from the screen? Your channel is very helpful for building a home simulator 👏👏👏
Interesting product. Seems like the big cost is everything around the mat. We need companies like this to push the envelope and features may trickle down to cheaper setups in the future.
Good review Mitch 👍 As much as there are quite a few positives to Golfzon, one downside I found was that accuracy of the ball data (particularly spin rate) was quite a bit off compared to both Trackman & Foresight. Definitely affected ball flight/distance which for that level of cost was surprising to say the least!
Mitch, I know this video is old(ish) now, but how did you find it in terms of forgiveness? I'm just back from a Golfzon sim and honestly, if felt super forgiving to the point where it felt cartoonish. I could tell I had pulled a drive, and it ended up 250 down the middle. I was -1 after 14 holes at Ball Hill (then I ran out of time lol).
I can't help feel that it's for fun commercial usage, maybe a few drinks after work with mates, but not for seriously improving your game.
