Three-Way Tie Emerges at the Top

After two rounds, Dianchao Wu (Beaumont, CA), Zude Xu (Rancho Palos Verdes, CA), and Drew Woolworth (Lake Oswego, OR) share the lead at 9-under-par (135). All three players have taken advantage of favorable scoring conditions, combining consistency with timely birdie runs on Silverado’s demanding North Course.

Wu opened with rounds of 67-68, while Xu countered with 68-67 to match the pace. Woolworth surged into the tie for first thanks to a strong 65 in Round 2 after an opening 70, recording the lowest single round among the leaders.

Chasing Pack Within Striking Distance

Sitting six shots back at 3-under-par (141) are Benjamin Friedman (Mill Valley, CA), Estuardo Duque (Oakdale, CA), and Frederick Egnatios (Scottsdale, AZ). Each remains well within contention as the tournament heads toward its final round, with Silverado’s North Course known for producing late momentum swings.
