Welcome back to another episode of our Pro vs Pro series!
In today’s match we take on PGA Tour member, and a good friend of mine, Brandon Wu. We battle it out at the legendary TPC Sawgrass in Ponte Vedre Beach, Florida, in an 18-hole, 1v1 epic stroke play match.
Brandon is currently ranked 582nd in the world and is a member of the PGA TOUR. Recognized as a top 10 amateur player in the world before he turned pro, Brandon was the first amateur to compete in both the US Open and British Open in the same year (2019). A winner of the 2020 Korn Ferry Tour Championship, he has now played 3 full seasons on the PGA Tour and has played in every major championship.
Brandon spent his early days moving between California, China and my home town, Scarsdale, New York. He went on to attend Stanford University, and would become a NCAA National Champion in his Senior Year. Brandon received his diploma from Stanford University as he was walking off the 18th green at Pebble Beach in the 2019 US Open.
