An interactive golf entertainment centre has opened its doors at a resort in Lagos, Nigeria.

Golf X brings together sport, entertainment and technology to create a gamified experience that utilises swing tracking and microchipped balls to track distance and accuracy.
There will also be an F&B outlet serving elevated meals, positioning the venue as a lifestyle space.
Karla Groenewald, general manager of Lakowe Lakes Golf and Country Estate, said: “Golf X was created to meet the growing demand for leisure spaces that offer more than just entertainment. We wanted to build a destination where people can connect, play, relax, and create lasting memories whether they’re seasoned golfers, first-time players, families or groups of friends.”
The venue’s standard bays can accommodate up to five players at a time, while VIP bays can host seven. Standard sessions last 90 minutes, with the option to add extra playtime.
Golf X describes itself as “designed for everyone – from first timers to seasoned players” and is also suitable for children.
