Rosslare Ladies
In the twixtmas days between Christmas and the new year we continued golf on a casual and social basis with ladies’ and gent’s fourballs, singles and team events. We’re gearing up for the return of ladies’ competition golf from January 6, 2026 onwards.
And now our thoughts are turning to the 2026 Winter League, kindly sponsored again by Howden Insurance. The league will take place over seven consecutive weekends, beginning on January 17 and will feature singles, fourballs and Scotch foursomes matches.
It’s a great way to sharpen your swing, perfect your putting and get to play with previously undiscovered team-mates. So members, if you feel like charging up the handwarmers, donning your mittens and adding about four base-layers, please enter on BRS by Sunday, January 4 – we promise that it will be worth it. We’re gearing up to lead our teams to glory in the 2026 inter-club tournaments and we are currently recruiting members to act as team managers. Sign up and channel your inner Luke Donald – your team will love you for it.
To protect the course in winter, members and visitors are required to use mats on the fairways. Mats are available in the Pro Shop – so be a cool cat and use a mat.
Keep up to date with news, results and pictures on our website www.rosslaregolf.com and on social media.
Golf with us and enjoy a delicious snack or a meal at La Vista Café and Restaurant, the hottest eatery in Rosslare. Visitors are especially welcome but remember to book your table in advance, particularly for weekend dining.
