If you’re losing distance, your backswing might actually be too slow and controlled. Many golfers think slowing the club down creates better accuracy or more power, but it often removes the speed needed to generate distance. A quicker backswing with a smooth transition helps you load the body properly and swing through with more force. Practice adding speed going back and then letting it flow through impact.

  3. no ways – slow back and slow down is best for me 💪🏻 i get a decent strike and decent distance with a slower swing – don’t look for distance , distance will find u

  4. Transition needs to match tempo of backswing, yep. Otherwise, you just yank the club around.

  5. Looks normal to me, certainly not long drive guys speed which looks mental, would take accuracy of distance any day.
