The Proper Golf Grip: It’s the hands that connect the club with your body! So it’s essential that your hands are properly placed on the golf grip. As we say in our video: in their natural position.
Why? The hands, being in their natural position cause the least tension in the muscles. The muscles in your hands as well as the ones up to your shoulder. Rotating your hands and arm to grab the club causes a higher muscle tension in your arm, but again also in your shoulder, so this tension causes a limitation of your shoulder turn which leads to more action in, and from your arms and so on, less control of your rhythm and so the smoothness of your golf swing.
So, as we say, place your hands in their natural position and then put the club in your hands as shown on the video. Don’t (!) place or curl your hand(s) under the club. Being a right handed golfer, first your left hand and then your right hand.
Feel the balance in your grip and now you can start the golf swing from your shoulders without limitations.
