It’s back. Season 2 of the virtual, made-for-TV golf league TGl returns to TV screens on Sunday. It’s the kickoff to the 2026 season but it’s getting a jump things.
The Atlanta Drive GC battles New York Golf Club in the first of 15 match on the schedule. It’s a rematch of last year’s finale. In 2026, the top two teams will face off in the SoFi Cup in March.

Who are the golfers playing TGL Season 2?
There are six teams in all, each with three players (from each four-man team) competing in each match. As it turns out, all six rosters return as they were a year ago. But, there will be some slight adjustments here and there.

Atlanta Drive GC: Justin Thomas, Patrick Cantlay, Billy Horschel, Lucas Glover
Boston Common Golf: Rory McIlroy, Keegan Bradley, Hideki Matsuyama, Adam Scott
Jupiter Links GC: Tiger Woods, Max Homa, Tom Kim, Kevin Kisner
Los Angeles Golf Club: Collin Morikawa, Tommy Fleetwood, Justin Rose, Sahith Theegala
New York Golf Club: Xander Schauffele, Matt Fitzpatrick, Rickie Fowler, Cameron Young
The Bay Golf Club: Shane Lowry, Ludvig Aberg, Wyndham Clark, Min Woo Lee
Justin Thomas of Atlanta will miss some action after recently having back surgery. Tiger Woods of Jupiter also recently went under the knife and his return is unknown.
Woods has said he plans to be on site for all of the Jupiter Links matches and will be mic’d up for telecast as well as the trash talking that’s bound to ensure.
