A fire destroyed an abandoned building at a former golf course in a Coral Springs neighborhood early Saturday, officials said.
The fire happened at the building at 11801 Heron Bay Boulevard, the former clubhouse for Heron Bay Golf Club, which closed several years ago.
Coral Springs-Parkland Fire Department officials said when crews arrived, the building was fully engulfed in flames.
Crews were able to extinguish the fire, but it appeared the building was destroyed.
No injuries were reported.
The cause of the fire was unknown but under investigation, officials said.
