MILLSTONE — Attention all polar bears: Dust off your clubs, don your warmest outwear, and join the 2026 Polar Bear Tournament scheduled for Saturday, Jan. 31 at Charleston Springs Golf Course South in Millstone Township. There will be a 10 a.m. shotgun start.

Featuring a two-player, best-ball format, this always popular gross and net mid-winter golf event is sure to book quickly.
Registration is now open (Program # T0161A) and available online or by calling Parks Registration at 732-842-4000, ext. 1.
The fee is $100 per team of two players. No golf pass is required. Players must have a USGA GHIN handicap to participate in the net division.

Clarification of Tee-Time Booking with Two-Factor Authentication
Effective Dec. 1, 2025, when booking a tee-time online, golfers will immediately receive an email with a booking code which must be entered on the reservation system prior to receiving confirmation of the successful tee-time reservation.
The booking code email subject line will read “RESERVATION CONFIRMATION.” You will not secure the tee-time without first entering the booking code. Once successfully booked, the customer will receive a confirming email entitled “RESERVATION DETAILS.”
Clarification of 30-Day Advance Reservation Criteria
Current MCPS Golf Pass holders may utilize this system to book tee-times within a 30-day window. The system will allow reservations to be made beginning on the 17th day following the date the passholder has booked a reservation (the reservation “captain”) or played as a member of a group, booked by another player, whichever date is later.
The system takes into account any future or past reservations, or dates played (whether or not you were the “captain”).
