Kenosha County’s golf courses — Brighton Dale Links and Petrifying Springs Golf Course — closed for the season at the end of the day Saturday, Nov. 15, but indoor simulator play remains available throughout the winter at Brighton Dale, Golf Director Jim Wallace announced.

“We thank all of our golfers making it another great season at Brighton Dale and Petrifying Springs,” Wallace said. “We’re proud to provide the area’s premier golfing experiences at our two facilities, and pleased that golfers from Kenosha County and beyond appreciate what we have to offer.”

In 2024, the county courses broke the all-time record for use, with more than 120,000 rounds played. As of earlier this week, this year’s total was about 500 rounds less than the record, Wallace said.

While Monday’s lake-effect snowstorm halted play at Petrifying Springs, Wallace said it will reopen Friday and Saturday, if conditions allow. Brighton Dale Links was not affected by snowfall but will likely close for the season after Saturday due to anticipated cold weather next week, Wallace said.

The indoor simulators at Brighton Dale will remain open through the winter. The simulators feature Flightscope launch monitors and can be booked by the hour on the Brighton Dale website, or by calling the golf shop at 262-697-4653.
