The Opening Swing and the calendar year wrap up this week on the DP World Tour at the AfrAsia Bank Mauritius Open. This week sees the ninth edition of the AfrAsia Bank Mauritius Open and second to be held at the stunning Heritage La Réserve Golf Links. John Parry returned to the DP World Tour last season after claiming three wins on the 2024 HotelPlanner Tour and it did not take him long to claim a first DP World Tour victory in more than 14 years. After four events across three weeks in two continents, the Opening Swing on the Race to Dubai reaches a climax this week in Mauritius.

Thank you for this coverage. I’m watching more golf and learning about newer players thanks to this channel. It really reminds me of the good old days on terrestrial TV, just pure coverage with no adverts which is a beautiful premium viewing experience. I had never even heard of Schaper before the last tournament, or of any of these golf courses, but I remember him winning that playoff the other day. Great stuff. This is what watching sport should be all about.
