Posted a couple weeks ago about building a hitting platform. In the meantime, I've purchased a Garmin R10 and a new cage/net. All in for under $1k (I did find the mat and the iPad for pretty cheap on marketplace).

Also built a DIY hitting strip/divot-action insert which has made a huge difference on not only my joints but provides a more realistic experience.

    Perfect! Did something similar but on a slope so it was a bit more of a pain in the ass, but turned out perfect for me.

    Looks great man. Can you elaborate on the hitting strip? Is it more padded than the rest of the mat?
