I got a brand new Mizuno Iceberg limited edition pro set of irons as a christmas gift! This is probably the most beautiful set of clubs I’ve ever set my eyes on!

I’m torn between two decisions

give

  1. them to a true golfer who will appreciate the clubs
  2. Hang them in a rack in my office until I’m good enough to use them.

  1. I will also accept them, appreciate them, love them. I’ll even give them iron covers (I swear) so they don’t get too cold and lonely

Golfer here, favorite color is blue. Would appreciate the clubs

I love that you’re offering to give these away but you should keep them!

You’ll be ‘good enough’ to use them before you know it. Meanwhile these will always be limited in number and an awesome set to own!

I just want the hossle. Those are sick

You can’t give away a gift like this! Keep them until you are ready to play them. They are some amazing looking clubs!

Run an auction for your favorite charity. Golf nuts may pay for 1st of 1000. If not, I’ve been thinking of switching from Callaway to Mizuno… Haha

You’re always good enough to use them. Use them.

I’d play them till the wheels fall off.

  9. Those things are gorgeous. Hang on to them or just play them! Life is short my man.

Keep them. It’s part of a goal to grind and get better.

Wait how did you get them as a Christmas gift lol who just gives away a beautiful set like this

Pretty cool. Auction them off for charity

  13. ChaosINnc

Hold onto those and use them as motivation.

Use them! They are beautiful, my goodness.

Quality and cool clubs – but the set up may not fit you.
Steel Dynamic Gold shafts fit some swings real well – and also can be not so good for many other players.
Get someone to evaluate your swing to see if these are a fit for you. Whether you are good or a new golfer a good fitter should be able to determine if these are right for your swing.

  16. Keep them. I understand the season of generosity and all, it these are limited collectors editions that you could sell for double the price if you leave the wrappers on them and hold them for a few years.

People will overpay when the 1/1000 product becomes increasingly hard to attain.

I mean 100% id love these if you gave them away but 100% you need to keep them bro. Clubs are tools to be used. Its like putting a hammer away because you dont want to damage it.
Get in there and use them my guy

Keep them as a collector’s item if you don’t want to use them. They are gorgeous!! Congrats

100% keep them. First off, those were expensive and someone bought you them as a gift! Second, you can definitely grow into them.

When I first saw the pics I thought of what you wrote for 2. It’s like the main piece of the man cave..just sitting there in its beauty waiting for your skill to arise

This would make a great Christmas gift for me.

  23. SuperCrispCurrency

I’ll buy them 🤷‍♂️ I have always used hand-me-downs. Although I did buy a set and used it for half a season until a buddy gave me his. Man those are pretty. Going out tomorrow in Illinois and it will be 36° and tee off lol

  24. brightcoconut097

You better not be gifting these to ANYONE
