Rory McIlroy is coming off of an elite PGA Tour season where he dominated the majority of golf events he competed in.
While he hopes to have that same success in 2026, the golf phenom needs to make sure he carries his Ryder Cup form into the new year.

Pro golfers travel the world to play the biggest events on a regular basis, but McIlroy made a stunning admission this week.
Rory McIlroy was asked about where he often goes to practice during his down time. However, the sport isn’t as accessible as others, so he revealed that he is a member at over 18 golf clubs across the world.
“Gotta go country by country here,” McIlroy joked. “12, 13 … Can I include Seminole because I pay for my dad? My favorite is the R&A. I think that’s probably my favorite … 18 golf courses.”

It’s hard to fathom how much money the Northern Irishman is spending on membership fees alone, but he did make over $16.9 million last season. That includes earnings from winning the 2025 Masters at Augusta.
McIlroy is living out every golfer’s dream though as he prepares for another season on the PGA Tour as one of the world’s best players. He finished number two in the Official World Golf Rankings this past season behind Scottie Scheffler.
