The guy fitting me seemed super excited about it. Told me it's one of the rarest shots he sees and I overheard him telling a coworker about it on my way out.

Since path/face are left shouldn’t it have landed a little left of the target line?

  2. Toothlessdovahkin

Did you buy the driver that accomplished this feat? And what was the driver

  3. Efferdent_FTW

Okay, but what were your feet lined up to?

  4. Bushmaster805

That is pretty dope! Now do it on the course! 😉

  5. sexman510

  6. NeighborhoodPlane794

That bicep and the swing speed do not match

That’s nothing, I can do this on command. Just set up for a 30 yard draw and I hit it dead straight.

U hit a driver with 91 club speed and 134 bs. Are you actually 60 yrs old?

  9. ChubbzPeterman

That’s what they want you to believe during a fitting…

Sir, your club speed must be at least 120+ to post on r/golf.

What did you use to get the Vaseline off your shoes when you got home? Or maybe it didn’t splatter that far with that clubhead speed..?

Imagine wasting the best swing of the year indoors in a sim.

  16. pokaprophet

So did he make the sale/commission after faking your result?

  17. RichChocolateDevil

I need to move to a place where I can get 30 yards of rollout.

  18. 6lackberry

    Theoretically possible, but practically impossible

  19. Daawggshit

If you can get that club speed and attack angle up you will be shittin on that thang

This is on a trackman 4 I’d assume?

Its pretty well known that on indoor trackmans the higher you get ball speed the less accurate the spin #s are. At the distance from tee-screen the ball will maybe do 3 rotations before hitting the screen and the radars/cameras are not good enough to properly pick up the spin. For instance it said I was getting 1300-1500rpm on my drives last time I was there. I know for sure I am not spinning it that low or guys from the tour would be asking me for tips.

Outdoor the trackman 4 will track the ball to its peak and beyond and give #s that are very accurate. If Sim places want to deal with this they need to move the tees back from the screens more but it is unlikely they will do that. The newer trackman IO is better at indoor tracking or if you use those special balls on the trackman 4 it improves things.

If anyone doubt this I can do the math when I get home. 130mph ball speed will cover 12ft in 0.06s roughly which doesn’t leave much time for rotations. Of the cameras are inaccurate on picking up a half a rotation before the screen it will result in roughly 500rpm difference.

The trackmans are good tech but the trackman 4 debuted in 2015 an the IO has a better processor but same radars as far as I know. There are other competitors on the market now handing these exact issues better but trackman has become the “quality standard” on 10 year old tech.

I’m sure it was still a good shot, not trying to shit on your parade too much but don’t think trackman numbers are gospel

There’s a 99% chance you never miss another shot. Congrats

You should ask to borrow your wife’s boyfriend’s gym membership.
