The great thing about ball markers compared to golf balls is I won’t slice my ball markers into the woods on the first tee

I get one from every semi nice course I play. I want to find a good way to turn it into a display I can continue to add to
PsychologicalRow9028
Ya but what about ball markers?
No_Basis_9694
Is this how you display them? That’s my only issue with collecting ball markers. I still do but they just get tucked away. Pencils make a nice display

As someone who has accumulated too much stuff, I agree. These are nice keepsakes that don’t take up very much room.

Golf balls>ball markers>pencils as a souvenir imo
No good way to display the markers since there are so many different sizes and shapes. Not to mention they can get silly expensive at some places compared to a $5 ball.
Pencils are the most space saving option and free, but half the time the pencils are plain and boring.
Obviously balls take a lot of space, but every course has them for cheap, they look neat and are easy to display.

Ball markers, and getting a ball with the course logo on it if its somewhere ill most likely never play again

I beg to differ – logo balls are the best item. Have a case behind my desk at work. Great conversation piece

I’ve been picking up golf balls as I play new courses, but I think I’m leaning ball markers from here. At least I would use these.

Totally agree. I have mine on a small magnetic blackboard on the wall of my study
They’re the best. My hope is to eventually have enough that I can make a coffee table with them.

How much did you pay for that quarter??

An idea I’d love to see adopted. A little box on the first tee (near the scorecards) that is a “take a ball marker, leave a ball marker” box. Have a neat one you don’t use anymore? Toss it in. See something interesting in there? Use it that round and leave it in the box at a different course. Sometimes you find something rare.
I have been collecting ball markers for a long time and am trying to think up a way to display them. Anybody have a suggestion?

I hate when the only thing they have is the poker chips though. This makes me judge the course as a whole lol

Is that sacconnessett?

I like the caddy towels. Not all courses have the ones I like, but they’re generally less than $20ea. For some reason it feels less like a rip off.

I have been buying ball markers at every golf tournament my wife and I attend. I usually buy a 4pack for myself and I also buy an extra 4 pack so I can hand them out to my friends when we golf next. So I have my own small collection now!
found these guys in an old thrift store bag. the dime looks to be gold plated.

I once forgot my sunglasses in a golf cart at a course hours away from my home. Called the pro shop before leaving town and they said they had them. Went in to grab them and asked for an extra scorecard as a souvenir. Dude gave me a scorecard and a free ball marker. Use that ball marker every round now.

I collected ball markers from everywhere I played for about 20 years. I had them in a baggie on a trip and lost them in the parking lot at Torrey Pines
Currently using my winderoo lakes ball marker I bought in Brisbane, over 10,000 miles from home

Played a course in Switzerland and was pumped to get something from the pro shop afterward, such as a ball marker or golf balls and they had not one thing with the course name on it haha it was so weird but maybe course merch isn’t as big of a deal in Europe? Idk anyway, cool collection!

I like the pencils. Easy to display too.

Woodstock country club in the top left. One of my favorite VT courses/towns.
And The Creek, too. That’s an amazing course for the views alone. How’d you get on?
Comprehensive-Fee63
Had mine stolen out of my bag by baggage handlers on a flight…

I see the winged foot markers. Grew up 10 mins from there. Gorgeous property

Ugh the creek. I’ve got such mixed feelings about that place. Great golf course, awful membership. Still has the best view on Long Island.
