The 2025 PNC Championship gets underway at the Ritz-Carlton Golf Club in Orlando, Florida, continuing one of golf’s most beloved family traditions. Founded in 1995, the 36-hole event pairs a former major champion with a family member, blending competition with celebration. Lee Trevino remains the only player to have competed in every edition of the tournament. This year’s field includes eight former world No. 1 players and six past champions, led by reigning champion and record six-time winner Bernhard Langer, who once again teams up with his son Jason. Fan-favorite pairings include Stewart Cink with son Reagan, Jim Furyk with son Tanner, Padraig Harrington with son Paddy, John Daly alongside John Daly II, and Fred Couples with stepson Hunter Hannemann. World No. 1 Nelly Korda also headlines the field, teaming up with her father, Petr Korda, while Matt Kuchar competes with son Cameron. Making his debut, Gary Woodland returns after his 2023 surgery, partnering with his father Dan.

at this par four short par4 383 yds >> one of the strength of his game obviously >> talked about the length off the tee and their short game is going to be their strength this week >> and John Wood is with team Monica >> thank’s already missed so he got a little read here down the hill moving to his right a little bit you have it of course he made it Davis love III has been a two-time champion here with his son Drew love the last title they won was back in 2018 18. So this is the first time they’ve been back since then and DL3 from long range for an Eagle in her fifth appearance with her tennis major winner. Dad Peter second at the third. It’s a par five and Nelly putting team cord in an excellent position to pay it off with an eagle. Dad lipped out. He put it first in scramble format. So you give Nelly a look from close range like that and you bet she’s going to pour it in. >> Enthusiasm galore with Lil McGee. >> Come on. >> That was almost as enthusiastic as it gets. >> Tom Layman putty for birdie here at 13. >> Yeah. Okay. You like his chances this week? >> I do. I I love the fact that Shawn is becoming such a good player. >> Bono, let’s see if Lee can make one here. >> Over spun that second shot. Looking for two in a row. >> Two for two. >> Yes. >> Two of the ball. >> Two times on the bag. >> Will McGee coming through the fringe for birdie at the eighth. Are you kidding me? Will you McGee? >> Willie Mack. All we do is watch him make putts every year. Look at Stewart playing from the up tease here. >> It’s got to make him happy. >> Oh, that >> tell you what, we mentioned it yesterday in the ProAm show. Would not be surprising to see Steuart sink win on the >> Oh man, that’s what Nelly does. gives yourself so many opport behind your other player in this format. Dan >> Dad’s in the yardage book. Cass sings second on the way at 11. >> I asked FJ this morning, how’s Cass’s game? And he went, I wish he’d practice more. I go, >> Cass missed the birdie attempt. Dad backing him up. And that usually means it’s going down from short range, especially with the second. yard. >> Davis love the third. 171 yds for him. >> Again, very getable hole location right on the front. >> Like that. Go get that. >> Almost had an ace. And this is Trevino coming up the fringe up the hill. >> This This is makeable right here for Lee. >> Look at this. Are you kidding me? smoke their drive. Look at that. This is his second shot from just short of the green. >> Wow, that’s huge. >> There. Those hands you talked about, dude. >> Izzy Stricker on the te at the 12. >> Man, what a beautiful swing. >> Seven iron hand. Boy, this is a good looking shot. >> Ever right over the flag stick. There you go. >> Just kind of deadhanded that in there. You know, no scar tissue, no extra, you know, just get up there, hit it instinctively and watch it disappear. >> Expect anything different. >> Trevino at 16. >> Oh, this is going to be cool. He’s going to hit a little low drawing wedge. And how cool was that? That is vintage Trovino. >> That is working everything. The ball, the little mound, the slope of the green. >> Playing with the Tinos. >> See if he can craft something. Go in. >> Oh, inside a lead. >> Now different type of shot, but uh pretty good result. two off the lead currently being held by the Coochers. Nearly the number two player in the world stiffing it there at the 10th. It’ll be a tap-in birdie for the Corders. Not Santa, but John Daly with his second. Playing alongside his son John Daly II. They won this tournament just a few years back. And team Daly on another birdie run here. They listen. >> Jason Langanger doesn’t have to go far for great advice from >> Burnhard just right OVER THE STICK. THE CHILDREN OF MATT AND CIBBY. >> This was while we were away. Look at that rip. >> Wow. >> Short par4. >> He can move it. >> Yeah. >> Swing. Oh, he reached it. >> No problem. >> Man. >> Gave professional golf a real try. Jake, >> he’s got a beautiful action. Oh, I guess so. Sound like it ticked the flag, didn’t it? >> Born in Cork, Ireland or something. He went through the whole thing. He goes, “We got to be related. >> Do it.” >> Oh, great way to end it for Daniel. >> He was in the USA and a lot of his friends were just so excited to see John the second there. >> That’s a tie for the lead. Steve Streker walking it in. Steuart Sun second shot here at the par five 18th. They’ve got the sink belt buckles dusted off. And this was a beauty. >> How about that? >> Reagan sink a new father in his own right. >> Two time Masters champion >> with Sean that. You know, we’re talking about the way your game changes as Langanger’s gotten older. >> The great insurance 14-year-old if she misses. Got Willie Mack right behind her. >> Oh, no need for you, son. We got it. Sit in the cart. >> Look at Will hands up in the air. Coming home at the 18th with a second. >> We’ve already seen some really nice shots here at the par five trying to thread the needle through those two front bunkers and he hits it perfectly. And he makes his stop. >> Yep. That’s about as good as you can dial it up. >> Doesn’t make a doesn’t make a big turn into the back swing, but wow. The turn through the ball is impressive. Wow. Beautiful shot by Cameron. That’ll be tough for dad to better. It’s automatic. Automatic, >> man. I’m telling you, seen this guy before. >> You have. >> He is something else. >> Golf Sims that they have at Villanova in the cold weather and Luke Hello drops it home. Anukica has already missed. Will backing her up. Oh, run. It goes and added to the Will McGee highlight reel. It just keeps growing by the minute. >> Podrick Harington for his birdie. >> And okay. >> Yeah. When your dad’s in there close, you be a little more aggressive and try to make it. Whoa. >> Youngest player in the field. He usually is each and every year. No problem. Will McGee walks another one in. You know, you can learn a lot by watching Will putt. He just sees it, feels it, and goes. He’s become somewhat of a celebrity here. >> Trying to hit a power draw. It’s on a good line if it’s the right ticket. Looking good here, BONES. >> WHAT A SHOT. >> It was. And that’s going to set up the dailies with a very good chance for a walk-off eagle on >> who you can bet will have the memory of Matt’s dad with them tomorrow as they try to put this special tournament away. That was all John Daly II at the 18th. See, it’s moments like that that tell you something about John Daly II. He’s got it. I really think. >> Thanks for watching the PGA Tour on YouTube. More fun than current tour
Lee Trevino and Will McGee are my favorites.
Tiger and his boy are not playing?
Watching Lee buck play at his age, makes my heart sore. well done lee.
John Daly
Why does PGA footage all look so old. Like it's from the 90's, and it's never more than 1080p……….
SInce when did Kuchar win a major?? imposter in the field…ok edit update: "The tournament is organized by the PGA Tour Champions, which is the over-50s circuit run by the PGA Tour – hence why Players Championship winners are allowed in the PNC Championship field. It's why Matt Kuchar is able to play each year with his sons Carson and Cameron, with the American winning at TPC Sawgrass in 2012." either way Kuchar has no business playing in the PNC..if he wins no one respects it.
… all grass cut so low around greens , no rough or difficult condtions. Wish we had the same when we play.
Lee Buck ❤
Great to see Lee Trevino out playing at age 86, what a LEGEND! Where is Gary Player, has he given up golf?
Daly's second on the board and hardly featured in the highlights.
Will never subscribe until Wesley Bryan is allowed to play again. Pretty sad the PGA tour has to be that petty.
where is tiger
lol is every putt straight
Trevino @14:04 is shot of the year for me. Fantastic !!
I saw a thumbnail that said there was a golf tournament. I thought I'd watch the highlights. This isn't really any kind of championship. Boring format. It';s like watching miniature golf, or worse virtual golf.
Would have been nice to see some of those drives from the Dalys. Never-mind, this is the PGA we are talking about. They only care about the viewers that are 75 or older.
