now we launched top three in the first edition of The Big Break and it exploded in social media so much so we are back today it’s another go it gets another go which many segments on this show haven’t had a second run have you heard the jingle yet Gilly well we’ve got saw a pretty poor delivery of it in the first show do we have a jingle we’ve got wolf is not in audio that sounds like a rat that’s pretty much just the theme song I don’t know they’re trying to wrap up the seg top three it’s not hard to understand the top three this time Pakistani batters that you have seen so the top three VY will start with your number three I’m going to go with a modernday player one that actually has just lost his place in the test team I’m sure he’s going to get it back he’s world class across all the different formats the average is 47 across those formats T20 test match cricket in one day Cricket is near on averaging at 57 my number three for Pakistan is this man babaz and as a result he gets a business class flight alongside also a brilliant physio as we saw today yes he is okay Gilly you’re number three the business class flight that you’re referring to I think Jason Gillespie coming from Fast bowling stock had all the fast Bowlers pushed up to business class but out of respect the team manager very quickly shuffled around to make sure that that man bubber’s arm was in business class even though he’s only a little fell as was the team manager himself and Jason GES the coach as well so all those went out the window best P yeah Baba I like that tick but uh I’ve gone who did I end up no yes Muhammad Yus I couldn’t remember if he was two or three but Muhammad yusf um Yousef yahana he went by that name for much of his career and then Muhammad at one there was one calendar year where he was a leading run scorer I think from memory he scored nine test match centes in a calendar year there I think five or against do yeah okay so maybe it’s not that go to feat but uh he was a class act just so much composure so much calmness around a time when it was a bit of a transitioning time for Pakistan cricket so they built their whole match plan around him so different R number three number two oh it’s the big fell in man yeah big iny I mean again across all the formats just look at that just whipp on the on side Whi he he he didn’t like to run between the wickets too much but he didn’t need to because he could just whack it out the ground that shovel the bottom hand a little shovel onto the on side and you know he’s a wonderful player over many years playing for Pakistan he captained obviously for a a period as well but yeah bought a bit of controversy a bit of drama it was that moment in the stands where chased some I think with a stump or with a bat but inam Manel ha’s my number two number two yeah I’m with you on that one yeah he slots in at number two for me as well I mean he arrived in the 92 World Cup as such a young young man and there’s a a famous victory in Hobart where in 1999 where we chased down a total and I don’t mention that cuz I got some runs the turning point in that game was Mark wall took a Blinder of a catch to get eny out eny got a second Innings 100 if he doesn’t hold on to that that was the importance to Pakistan at that time of inan and markall took this catch and it turned the game but he the one one question mark for eny maybe just needed to leave the field a little bit quicker once he was dismissed you know that there was there was slow over eight given against opposition because he was still trying to get off the field but all right Class Act VY your number one Pakistani batsman that you have seen well I had this uh player in my top three Pakistan players of all time just two nights ago at the Javid Meander what a player just a wonderful competitor look at that with the grey nichels back in the 80s just skilled ferocious probably the first I ever saw that swept the ball brilliantly across all the different formats of the game uh always brought some controversy argued with everyone real Street Fighter and a brilliant player yeah jvid me UND my number one well I’m in support of you again and the reason why I went with ja and I love that footage because what stood out for me his numbers are outstanding Immaculate in test cre but the quality of attacks that he had to face in his era and we roll out Bruce Yardley bowling little gentle off Spinners to him at the MCG but you know he faced the mighty West Indies a mighty Australian attack it was all most Nations had really strong attacks through his era so he had to take him on against the best so he’s my number one we’ll put that up on socials so VY has gone babba inzamam Javid and Gilly has gone Muhammad yusf or yusf Yana as you said he started off inzamam and Javad so we’ll put that up on the fox Cricket socials get yourself involved

  1. Test Cricket:
Javed Mianded, Muhammad Yousuf, Inzamam Ul-Huq, Younis Khan, Misbah Ul-Huq
    ODI an T20 combined:
Babar Azam, Saeed Anwar, Inzamam Ul-Huq, Muhammad Yousuf, Mohammad Rizwan

  2. Babar Over Saeed Anwar Are You Kidding Me😂🤣 Saeed Anwar Was A Different Class In That Era Against Quality Fast Bowlers And Spinners.

  3. Seyed Anwar was so good with his magic wrists and fast hands.

Yousuf Youhana was also soothing and silky player (played the ball so late)

    Inzamam best against pace..

  4. Good afternoon l find it strange that none of these gentlemen mentioned Zaheer Abbass. Mr Abbass was batting at number three for rest of the World against Australia. Even if they dont have him in the top three. Not e ven a mention of his name. Wow.

  5. Saeed anwar has to be in this list. He is probably the best batsman Pakistan ever produced. And interesting fact is , all three batters they have mentioned : inzi, yousaf or babar, absolutely acknowledged multiple times in their talks & interviews that saeed was class apart as compare to them. He had all the shorts in his book, to cover 360 of the ground, temperament was way higher than any other pak batter, was entertainer BCZ the bigger the match is , the more pressure is , the more he tends to perform unlike any other pak batter. He had relatively very short career than other players in the list, because of her daughter's death due to cancer. Pak is not well known for good batters compared to ind, eng or aus, for obvious reasons, but he is the only pak batter who is absolutely up there matching the class of some of the great ind , eng and aussie batters. Just have a look at his stats against ind !

  6. Hanif Mohd should be in top three. Faced bowlers like Wesley Hall, Tyson, Gilchrist, lindwall WITHOUT a helmet, no elbow or thigh or side pads and pads made of cardboard and gloves with just rubber spikes on them

  7. Inzi got run out 40 times in ODIs and more than 10 times in Test matches thats 50 international run out. Without run out he could easily add 5 more runs to his ODI average and 2-3 runs in his test average and would have won more matches for Pakistan

  8. Javed Miandad was rated as the number one Pakistani batsman by cricket legends like Gilli and Vaughan, highlighting the immense respect he has among those who witnessed his remarkable career. Unfortunately, many in the new generation in Pakistan are unaware of his extraordinary talent and fighting spirit. Instead of celebrating his contributions to cricket, they often see a few losers ridicule him for his natural lisp. It's truly disheartening to witness this neglect of a cricketing icon.
