Today, we’re finding out how many average golfers it takes to beat a professional woman’s golfer. She starts one-on-one against an 18 handicap. And every time she wins or ties a hole, we add another golfer to the amateur team. But we’re not just playing against any pro here. We’re playing against Hannah Screen, one of the best young pros in Europe. She played for England, won national championships in college, and now competes on tour. >> Oh, she’s drained it. So the question is, how many average golfers will it actually take to beat her? >> You know what? That well play. >> Every new player changes the game. New pressure, new personalities, and way more chances to beat the pro. >> Wow. Wow. We’re putting on an absolute show. >> And if the amateurs beat her at any point, the challenge is over. >> All right, guys. We are on whole five at the Grove today. The first person we’re going to put up against Hannah screen, ladies European tour player, is 18 handicap Nick. >> Nick has a best score of 89 and his claim to fame is pulling out for quadruple bogey a few weeks ago. Let’s see how he fares against le pro Hannah. >> No, hold. >> Stop. >> Okay, fine. It’s all right. Oh, keep your eye on that. >> Yeah, I mean we’ll find it. >> You have a good line. >> Yeah, it’ be a long way. What’s the best round of golf you’ve ever played? >> Best round in like practice. I shot I’ve shot an eight under in practice, but like in tournaments, I’ve shot like a few sevens and some sixes. I guess I’d love to un unlock that level where people just can go like eight n under and that is what I want. He doesn’t want that. >> No, he doesn’t. >> Yeah, we’re going to have to p We’re going to punch out. I think we’re going to hit a punch shot. It >> Yeah, smart play. Smart play. >> 220 out hitting a four iron. I see. I could kind of just lay it up. No, I got to go for it. And he shanked it. >> Bro, that almost hit me. >> Oh my goodness. Oh my god. >> In all fairness, he put me off completely by seven. >> Like, how would you in in a game like this? >> I was just almost killed on camera. >> Where did that go? >> It made it through, I think. Maybe. >> Where’d it go? Well, Nick, if I want to run back, >> I reckon you deem it unplayable. Take a couple cubings cuz you just have a full swing and just get the ball in play again. >> Couple like what? There’s not much I can do here anyway. >> Tree is 90% error. >> Tree is 90%. >> Where’d it go? It’s in the bucket. >> Um, >> why don’t we let Hannah play? Why don’t we let >> Why don’t we let Hannah hit a couple of shots? >> Beautiful swing. >> That’s such a pressure. >> So, that was the exact minimum you can fly, right? >> Yeah, basically. >> No, perfect. >> Just thought I’d make it interesting. >> Oh, that’s good. Good work. Good work. >> Yeah. At what point do you concede yourself? >> Yeah, I mean >> actually quite good. >> I’ll concede. >> Stop it. >> Very close match. Ladies European tour pro one amateur golfer zero. We’re going to bring on a second amateur golfer. >> At least you put on a stellar amateur performance. >> I put on a very amate I’d say borderline slightly below amateur golfer. You showed everything that could potentially go wrong. >> All right, one down. >> One down. Try and pick another one off. >> Yeah. Next up, we have Boss, our part-time editor, EX Amsterdam fan, and 18 handicap. Also self-proclaimed better than Nick. Second hole, which is the sixth hole at the Grove, is a 538 yd par five. Bunkers on the right hand side of the fairway and then left of the green as well. This is a long hole. I think it’s a three shot par five today. We just want to reiterate, it’s about three degrees outside, so everyone’s hands are freezing cold. >> Good. >> Yeah, that’s good. It’s rolled left of that tree there, too. That’s really good. >> I had the rights today. >> Oh, I’ve done the same. >> That’s further right. Off the cart path and into the trees. >> That will play. >> That’s better. >> Out of the woods going the wrong way. >> Yeah, that’s that’ll be okay. It’ll be okay. >> Another Splendon T-shot by myself. >> We just got to get one and play every time. I think that’s the key for us. >> That’s the key. >> I think we will. >> I’m going to be laying up. It’s 285. Uh yeah, I’m going to grab a seven I >> Yeah, >> go. >> That’s good rolling as well. >> That came out so dead. >> The rough is actually really long. The skully, isn’t it? Great grip. >> Wow. >> Strike pass. >> That was That was pure. >> Yeah, it’s up there. Really good. >> Good layup. Good layup. I don’t know if seven iron was the play, but >> got them both wrong. >> Yeah, very similar. >> Mine’s way further. >> Yeah, just a Yeah, just a little bit shorter. >> It’s uh six, five, four. >> Why were you lying? >> But how did you uh actually get into golf or how did this how did how did it all start for you? I went to driving range with my dad when I was so tiny and I kept asking to go back because I wanted to push the machine uh the machine buttons. >> Yeah. >> And yeah, I just kept asking to go back and then he got me a little golf club and that was when I was 5 6 years old. I’m 25 now. So long time ago. I have a long way. >> What’s the yardage? >> I have 180. >> 180. >> My third into par five. >> It’s um downwind though, right? >> Yeah. I’m just going to Oh, it’s so cold. God, I’m going to hit a five. >> Yeah, I mean that’s I’d probably hit a four. >> That is a strike. >> Oh my god. Oh my god. >> It’s Oh my just bring everyone in. That’s good shot. That’s That’s an incredible shot. That’s That’s really good. Damn. >> Under 135 yards. I’m going to go nine. Can you chuck me a nine? strike you now. >> It’s just short right. >> Uh >> yeah, B, we already got a ball out. >> Can put you off as well. >> That’s That’s the bunker. >> Oh well. Well, lucky. It doesn’t look too pro. >> The run the run of um using BA shots is finally over. >> I don’t know. Maybe it’s a nice bunker shot. >> Oh, wow. You hit a shot there. That is so good. Yeah, I’m happy with that. Five iron for my third. >> Maybe I should just lay up to five iron distance. >> Maybe maybe your favorite yardage is 180 yards. >> Maybe. >> It’s not looking very promising just yet, is it? >> No. Well, she’s she’s not in either. But >> I guess there’s a chance that we hold out. >> Don’t do that, Tim. >> Oh, had to go for it. You chipped it over the green. >> How close is he going for? >> It stopped. It stopped. It stopped. >> Get the shot, Casper. >> Good shot. Oh, that’s going in. >> Great shot. >> Yeah. And you got it on the green, bro. >> You say he doesn’t play. >> Yeah. Yeah, he doesn’t. He hardly ever plays. >> You’re going to have to get him in. If he doesn’t make us, we’ve tied this one out. That was really good. >> Didn’t look like that after a t-sh. >> Got to hit it. >> Yeah, there you go. >> Good for park. >> You’re done. You didn’t beat the pro. >> You have to beat the pro in order to move on. So, two amateur golfers not enough either. We’re now bringing in a third. The man behind the camera right now, Benji, handicap 13, I believe. >> Yeah. >> So, we’re keeping on getting better and better players every single hole. You almost finished her there. >> That was crazy. >> That was really crazy, >> bro. No one would have seen that coming. >> I didn’t even I didn’t even aim at all. I just saw you get quite aggressive and then >> Yeah, I I said we said we’re going to play aggressive. We had to be aggressive to beat it. Next up, we have Benji, a Nick Shank survivor and 13 handicap. Next up, we’ve got a par three playing 162 yds up a hill, two bunkers short of the green, protecting the green. Let’s see if three golfers is enough. >> That’s going right at it. >> Go. I think that’s really short. >> Wow. It’s a bit windy up there. >> That’s so short. >> Wow. >> That’s also sitting there. It’s not coming up there. Also short just there. >> Shot too. >> Wow. >> Go, >> bro. That felt good as well. I the bunker. Oh, cross it. >> Okay. >> Wow. >> You learned a lot from our shots there. >> We’ve all Damn. >> Okay, there’s three of us now. Zero greens in a rack. Let’s go. >> Oh, to be honest, we’ve got I think we’ve got a pretty good chance here. This might be the hole. Same shot as before where I just try and do a pitching edge. >> Or do I accept that I’m an average golfer and he’s a putter? >> I think you know the answer to your question. >> Yeah, it’s a pitching edge, isn’t it? Is it easier for you if it’s uphill like this? >> Sometimes. There’s a tear there, so I’m going to have to make sure I get it to that on the tear. >> It’s a kind of a tricky shot. >> Oh, I hit the tear. >> Okay, >> the door has just opened up a little. >> The door is open. Huge. Oh. >> Wow. He smoked that. That was like my chip on the last. >> Oh my god. >> Wow. Wow. We’re putting on an absolute show. >> Can we say amateur golfers or beginner golfers? >> Oh my goodness. Oh my god. >> Okay, Tim, we’re going to need you to >> Wow. Is that three amateur golfers weren’t enough? This is just never going to end, is it? I saw that you went to college and at the University of Houston, University of Oakland, right? >> Yeah, Oklahoma. Yeah, I went there from 2018 to 2022. Had the best time. Um, got my degree and then was playing golf at the same time. It was so fun. >> And did you were you at the University of Houston first or >> Yeah, I was there for about a year and then moved to Oklahoma. >> I think I saw too. You you was it honors that you received there from leaving? >> Yeah. So I had um they have like an honor system. I had like the best scoring average on the women’s team. Yeah. On the women’s team. Yeah. >> You weren’t killing it at your team. >> I my my academics were fine. I got my degree. It was good. But um yeah. No, it was really cool. They have those like incentives and awards that they give out. But yeah, so I I don’t know if I still hold the scoring record. I think so. Like the scoring average for the season. Next up, we have myself, a 7.2 handicap and the best brother. Come to end the embarrassment. And here we have a long par five that’s only ever been eagled by one person. And that was three times in a row by Tiger Woods in 2005. >> Right down the middle. >> Go. >> Nice. It’s >> so cold. All right. >> Pretty powerful. >> You’ve also come out firing, Benji. >> I’m guessing that wasn’t that good. >> Yeah, that’s good. Sorry, I’ve got to also hit a ball. >> Oh, that went nowhere. >> It’s pretty good. >> Great strike. >> Thank you. >> Yeah. >> Yeah, it’s a roller. >> Great strike, Tim. That’s why we brought the >> the big gun here. >> How far have you got on what clover you’re taking? >> I have a long way. That’s all I know. I’ve got a three-wood. Just try and get it down there as far as I can. There is a bunker, but I don’t think I can reach. Sorry. >> Yeah. Shot. I don’t think you’ll have 180 in. That’s so good. >> That is so good. >> Wow. Okay. Wow. Guys, we need to lock in. >> Boys, do we just want to have a quick chat about getting our together here? We can’t have We can’t have four of us, not Ver. >> At what point is it embarrassing? >> I think we’re at that point now. >> Like, we’re probably slightly beyond that point already. Yeah, she hit a good shot, too. We’re in trouble. >> Oh, Nick. Absolute bullet. >> I’m so back. >> Honestly, not bad, bus. >> Yeah, >> you got a really quick back swing. >> Yeah. Oh, bad bounce. >> You did. >> Yeah, that’s good shape on it. >> Nice. >> Thank you. >> Great shot. Thank you. >> Good >> compliment. >> Yeah, it’s too sicey. >> Good strike, though. >> Self compliment. >> All right. We’re up there. We’re up there. >> We’re out there. We’re out there. >> Let’s go. >> We’re also running out of guys here. We’ve got Casper behind the camera that’s going to have to jump in in a sec if we don’t do this. >> 149 and it’s cold. So, I’m going to club up. I’m going to hit a seven. >> It is going to be really good. >> Just short. >> Wow. >> So close. >> It’s playing so long. >> This is the door’s open again. >> God, bro. This is just >> This is horrendous. >> It’s on the car path. >> Yeah, it’s on the car path. >> Yeah, it’s not good. Little chunky in the bunker. >> Down to two. >> Who wants to go next? Look at this. >> That’s I don’t mind that, you know. I don’t mind that. >> I’m pretty sure it wasn’t ball first. >> Don’t fade so much. >> Yeah. Back of the green. Is that >> seven? >> Yeah. That’s That’s way too much, by the way. >> Some compression going on there. I’m so happy you’re in our team now. >> Okay. My hands just went fully. A >> I’m going to get >> from the pin, not from the >> We got a problem here. >> Oh my god. It’s not looking good. >> It’s not looking good. >> That That’s your line right there. >> Okay. >> Casper, our videographer, is the highest handicapper on the ground. If we don’t win this hole, we’re slowly running out of people. So, Casper is going to be the next person. >> Yeah. >> To get to this point. >> We’re going to keep getting better and better players and then we’re going to get anyone we can find. >> Oh, wow. >> Boys, the door is open. The door is open. >> Can we just Hannah, the um >> the wear pattern on your wedge? Look at this. You you you always hit the middle of the club, don’t you? That’s crazy. >> Exciting. >> That could be good, Benji. >> Keep rolling. Keep rolling. >> Okay. It needs more than that. >> Way further up the hill. >> Yeah. Come on, boss. >> That’s going to go pretty far, huh? Turn. Turn. turn. >> It’s actually not bad. It’s good speed. It was just a f right. >> Thank you, Tim. >> That’s the line. >> Thank you. >> Okay, we can make Tims though. We can make 10. Is that far? >> This wasn’t that bad. I’ll grip the flag. >> Must make >> must make putt. Must make. >> Got to concentrate. >> It all comes down to this. If Hannah doesn’t make this putt, we can win the match. >> Oh, >> okay. It’s for the win, boys. >> A putt to win the game. >> Nick, I think it’s got to be Nick. Got it. >> Well done. >> So, it took four. >> Thank you guys. >> Thank you so much for coming out. Really appreciate it. >> Well done. >> So, guys, >> took four amateur golfers to try and beat one professional ladies European tour player. >> Uh, if you guys enjoyed this video, we want to keep making more videos like this.
