Third shot at the par five. Oh, but did he hit the flag? Got a little bit of P. It must have hit the pin cuz it was going. Great shot. That’s for sure. In this W shaper quite a long way short. Plenty of green to work with. Goes low. Should get a bounce on these greens. There it is. Oh, that’s gorgeous. Subpar today is a proper success story. Dan Brown is under par. One under. And that is an absolute beauty. Well judged. So last hole for Eugenio Chicarda. He hit a good shot in here in the ninth. Just went through. Oh. Oh, that’s two great chips we’ve seen. Three actually, including Shapers. That’s what you got to do here on that reserve. Lobsha. This is his fourth shot. Lost his first ball with a wayward drive. It’s going to put a dent in his score. Oh, that is a fantastic recovery. Oh, Eddie’s uh at least he can hit it. Beautiful. Yeah, really good Barker. Four shot at the par 58. Go on. Oh, criy. That was inch perfect. >> It was also tough, but I think today in tournament conditions, it’s a little bit tougher. I mean, you don’t really have that >> luxury of maybe hitting one or two bad T- shots out there like a like a pro. >> It’s a bit shouted this second shot. Gone low once more. >> Nice to see. This looks good. >> Oh, it’s an absolute beauty. He’s got 40 ft of green, but I think he’s going to need it. Need to almost just try and chop this a little bit and get some flight on it, which he’s done. That’s excellent. Goodness me. >> That is a fantastic golf shot. >> Just worried about balls moving actually JC Richie a couple of minutes ago. Eagle chance for Jarvis. Happy days. >> Excellent start for Casey Jarvis. Four battling PS and then there’s the yellow number. The eagle Johnston is two over par. And that is a beauty. >> Not anymore. >> No. Nice jump. >> This looks six. Doesn’t look five. Might be five. This is high. >> Don’t stall. Don’t stall. Marcel, that’s one to be proud of. And Felson, >> he knows he knows how long it’s playing now after watching the playing partners. So, takes dead aim. And that is a fantastic shot. That is two really good shots in there. Wow. >> Yeah. Odds on coming up bit short, isn’t it? Not that far short. That’s a wonderful shot from John Perry. >> You get a point for hitting the green, Jeremy. Playing about 200 and change, I would say. Nasty little pop bunker at the back of this green. Does he like it? Oh, does he like it? No, he doesn’t like it. He absolutely loves it. Gee, we’ve seen three tremendous shots in here in the last 15 minutes. >> For possibly the two of the day, you would think for Jarvis. Not much in this. >> Yeah, lovely birdie from Jarvis. in a couple now in their last two groups. Ry Ger for Eagle on eight right in the middle. Excellent. Goes to 200. He’s had a couple of birdies, a couple of bogeies as you can see there. And that eagle really marches you forward. Look where he’s aiming here. Rigs Johnson for birdie at the 10th. >> Oh, what a wonderful effort. Doesn’t take long here, does it? Pero. Another very slippery putt down the green here at 10. Oh, that’s an absolute beauty from Eddie. Oh, wonderful putt. The brisk swing of John Perry. And what a shot. Oh, stunner from Parry. Drivable 13th hole for Rama. 326. Straight down the hill. Winds slightly helping off the left. Up you go. Up you go. There’s the flag. >> Brilliant from Rama. Short path for 13. Dylan Naidu just short of the green. >> Lovely shot from Naidu. >> Well, so far short of the green Marcel, but he’s lobbed that up in the air. He knows it’s it’s downwind and off the left. That’s a sensational shot. How good was that? Didn’t like that rock, dump. Did not like that rock in front of him. You’re trying to get it clean. If you get it a bit low on the face, think can ricochet and take your head off. He’s played a beauty, but it needs to just settle. No, he still played a beauty. That was a heck of a shot from where he was. >> Little thick roughy stuff on the edge of the bunker. All downhill. Oh, >> what a shot. >> When you’re gripping the club that low, you lose any feel of the the momentum of the swing of the club. Club it becomes lighter. >> What a chance. Just a feely one across the slope. >> Well, that’ll help. >> Yeah, that smartens things up. Uh, so he had that run of holes with three shots gone in three holes. He gets two of them back there and he’s back to within one of the lead. Well, Nicholas Kart will definitely have to take something off this one at 13. He’s always been a long hitter. >> Yeah, just trying to cut it down there. Colarts, where’s that? Oh, there it is. Oh, steady, steady. That should stop. What a shot from Nico showing his class. >> Oh, you like that? He will just >> It’s a goal shot, Tony. >> Oh, isn’t that just >> beautifully played. >> Gerald with his third shot to the 15th. It’s uphill 15 into a bit of breeze as well. This is a long long par five and the flag’s right at the back. Spin bad there. Go on. >> Great shot. Wow. Naba in the waist bunker at 16. >> Oh, that’s gorgeous. You know, you’re a little worried in there that there’s less sand. It’s more compacted than the bunkers, and you take that into account. And he’s just played a little gem. He’s struggled by his own admission to play on too many different tours. He’s gone two and fro over the last few years. Never really settled. That’s a nice save from Ryan Gerard. Keeps him at four under par. One off the lead. >> Jarvis. He’s played some beautiful golf. Let’s see if he can just keep this down and get it spinning on that top tier, which I do believe he’s done. How about that? >> He has been seriously impressive today. >> Okay, look where Rajar’s aiming this one sideways. >> The play shot. >> That’s a little bit of genius right there. >> We shall see. Well, this wind as we have mentioned is forecast to continue at a similar strength both tomorrow and and Saturday and then it’s going to die down just a little bit on Sunday. But it is South Africa’s Xander Lombard who leads the way here at Larv. To watch another DP World Tour video, click here. And to subscribe, click here.
