WARNING…recent warm weather has given me a case of spring fever, hence the story you are about to read.
Growing up, mini-golf or putt-putt was easy, go-to entertainment. There was a course at Miller Lake on Windy Hollow Road. That is long gone. At the Windy Hollow Lake course, the statues that adorned each green are still there, but the course itself hasn’t been in operation in decades. And then there was min-golf at Golfland out on Highway 56. Also gone.
The Best Mini-Golf in Kentucky
If I’m on vacation and I want to get off my butt and out of the car for a while, a sign announcing a putt-putt course will always make me smile. And every course is different, which makes it even more enjoyable.
I searched “best mini-golf in Kentucky,” and TripAdvisor provided a clear winner. Out of 79 reviews, Maggie’s Jungle Golf & Jungle Run comes out on top. Yes, it’s still winter, and this gem opens in April, but I’m already making plans.

Miniature golf course with a half mile walking or golf cart trail that let’s you observe, and feed animals. We love Miniature golf and this was a nice and more challenging course than expected. We’ll taken care of and the trail was a nice addition. Love that they really support the other local business in the area. Highly recommend if staying in the area

Discovered this while searching for things to do when we visited Kentucky Lake. It was myself, my 18 year old son, his girlfriend, and my mom. We enjoyed the mini golf, it was very nicely shaded and decorated very cute! We also did the jungle run, which was fantastic! Loved feeding and petting all the animals! Both activities were fun and very affordable. We will definitely go back if we visit the area again!
