Might wanna check and see if you’ve gotten scammed with these fake pro v1 balls

Testing a counterfeit golf ball. Now, I bought this Titus golf ball off of someone on the internet and they say it’s a refinished Prov1, but automatically I’m seeing a lot of issues. The stamping’s off. There’s a lot of cracking in the outer shell and it’s stamped as a 2021 Titleless Prov1. So, I grabbed one of my old ones and cut it open. That way, we have something to compare it to. Now, the first thing I’m doing is throwing into my sweet spot checker. That way, we have a sweet spot line on it and can see if there’s something a little bit off with this golf ball. Now, titleless golf balls are naturally really balanced. So, if the sweet spot on this golf ball is a bit off, that means that there’s something wrong with the inner core. And automatically, just looking at this golf ball, something’s off. Now, my marker didn’t stick to it correctly. It’s smeared all over the place and the ball itself feels really sticky. But I’m going to try and use that line as the center point. That way I can cut down and see if there’s something off with the inner core here. And it’s not feeling right when I’m cutting through it. It’s a lot harder feeling than a normal titleless golf ball when you pop through it. And immediately when I take a look here, something is wrong. Titus has the best ball manufacturing in the world. And this golf ball is way off center, which is not something you’d normally see from a Titus, especially a Prov1. In comparing it to the real Provy one from that year, you can definitely see it’s off. Now, the core color is very different, which is what they use as a marker. And then the mantle layer is a lot thicker on the Prov1 than on this one. So, my guess is that this is a much cheaper golf ball that they just restamped as a titleist.
