LIIV Golf has confirmed that its team championship will return to Michigan next season, while also unveiling plans for two brand new events in 2026 as part of an expanded global schedule. The Breakaway League has updated its worldwide calendar ahead of the new year, confirming new stops in South Africa in March and Louisiana in June, further underlining its ambitions to grow its international footprint. While those additions are now official, LIIV star Adrien Maron hopes to see another country join the schedule in the future. his native Poland. Speaking to Bunker Coyuk, the four-time DP World Tour winner admitted that while a Polish LIIV event may still be some way off, it remains a personal ambition. That would be fantastic. Meanc said, “I think it’s still a long way to go because we only have one challenge tour event in Poland right now. But hopefully in the future, I would love to see that happen. Encouragingly for Polish golf, the hotel planner tour recently confirmed its 2026 schedule, which includes the return of its regular stop in the country. The Rosa Challenge Tour is set to be staged at Rosa Golf Club in Kanopiska in September. Although the event remains relatively new, having been held just twice so far, it has already made an impact. The inaugural edition was won by Angel Ayura, who has since emerged as one of the DP World Tours rising stars. When asked to name his favorite event on the LIV golf calendar, Marank didn’t hesitate. Adelaide is the main one, he said. The atmosphere and the energy people bring to the party hole is just amazing. It’s a very cool tournament. A wide-ranging interview. Meanc also explained what he enjoys most about LIIV Golf and why he believes the format offers something different compared to the DP World Tour. I really like the schedule and the breaks in between events. It gives you time to work on your game, he explained. You don’t have to rush from one tournament to the next and play five weeks in a row. That was always something I struggled with. From a fan’s perspective, Maron believes LIIV’s condensed format has clear appeal. If I were a golf fan, I’d probably enjoy watching LIV more because you get to see almost everyone, he added. In 4 hours, you can sit on one hole and watch the entire field. In traditional tournaments, you either follow one group or spend the whole day walking the course. Obviously, it comes down to personal preference, but I do think LIIV is a good addition to golf.
