Eli Golf has confirmed that Rder Cup icons Ian Poulter and Lee Westwood will remain with a breakaway circuit for the 2026 season after agreeing new deals. The veteran English duo will continue as co- captains of Mageix GC where they will also be joined by new signing Lorie Caner who returns to LIV after time away from the league. Hter and Westwood, who boast a combined 37 European tour victories, finished 46th and 48th respectively in last season’s individual standings, placing both inside LIV so-called open zone. Hter, a founding member of Mageix GC, said staying on was an easy decision. I’ve been part of Mageix Golf Club from day one, and I’m excited to continue on that journey as a player and co- captain. He said, “What we’ve built both on and off the course is special and driven by a clear long-term vision. Alive Golf has changed the game in ways that excite players and fans alike, and being part of that evolution has been incredible. I’m as motivated as ever heading into 2026. Mage’s team, Principal James Dunley, praised Polter’s influence, describing him as a driving force within the squad. Ian is hugely important to this team. He sets standards, inspires those around him, and brings energy and passion that creates belief. Having both him and Lee back for 2026 is a massive boost for us. Westwood echoed those sentiments, expressing his enthusiasm for continuing with the team. It’s fantastic to carry on this journey with Mageix GC. He said, “What we’ve built together over the past few years has been incredibly rewarding, and the progress we’re making as a team and within LIIV Golf is remarkable. I’m fully committed to helping push us forward in 2026, both as a player and as a leader.” Dunley added that Westwood’s impact extends well beyond his encourse performances. Lee’s leadership runs deep through this organization. His calm, insightful approach and vast experience help drive our standards. And having one of the games great players back strengthens our foundation for the season ahead. Meanwhile, uncertainty remains over the future of Sam Horsefield as MStick’s fourth player. The 29-year-old, a three-time DP World Tour winner, finished 39th in LIV’s individual standings last season, leaving his place for 2026 yet to be confirmed.
