[Applause] Luke, thanks so much for joining us. Got to ask you first of all about Victor Hoblin’s withdrawal through injury. Just give us the details. >> Yeah, he started stiffening up yesterday morning, tried to go out in the afternoon, got worse and worse. Uh went to get MRI last night. Um just was really really stiff this morning. He tried to go through his warm up and uh just couldn’t play. So uh yeah, he’s devastated. He’s honestly he’s gutted. He wants to go out there and represent team Europe, but uh yeah, it’s very very unfortunate. Your team now just need two and a half points for victory. Many will think this is over, not you and your team. What message have you given to the players to retain the intensity? >> Yeah, zero complacency. We uh we know how strong these guys are. Uh they’re very dangerous in singles. Uh the crowd will be behind them. Uh we have to go take care of our own matches and try and win the session. >> Justin Rose and Tommy Fleetwood have just let off your singles order. Just tell us about the rest of it, how you decided who played where. Yeah, we thought the US would go with their strongest players out front, which they have. Um, we we throw out a lot of our strongest, too. And we’ve got a little bit of reserves in the back uh in case we need it. >> Really appreciate your time. Good luck today. >> Thank you. >> To watch another RDER Cup video, click here and subscribe here.

  1. It should be a full point forfeit. However, based on this weekend, that’s a half a point more than the US would have gotten.
