Marc Leishman wins on home soil, with a clutch birdie on the 72nd hole of what was a very windy Sunday.
It's a birdie putt there on one. >> Uh, Victorian James >> Marasani. >> The green here on three is for Birdie. >> Yeah, Boie on the second. That's been a a common thread today. >> Oh, yes. >> He also has his dad Ian on the bag who had never cattied for him before until yesterday. Now Josh Younger shot over the bunker up the hill to a back right pin. I'm sure there's some good things about it, but [laughter] it's going to be a tough shot. >> And what are they, Nick? >> Oh, hang on. He's done superbly here. That stays on the back edge. That is a wonderful shot. >> That's amazing how that kick forward out the middle of the fairway. That's that's rolled. You >> just have to pick a spot in those clouds there and commit to his line. This is where you run up the hill to to find out where it is safely on the green. Campbell >> back to Leechman. Oh, beautifully done there. You can see that he was actually allowing for the wind on that little chip shot. Ryan Mark not the longest off the tea here trying to >> clear that right bunker and bounce it up. Use the ground. It's between six and seven iron on a good line. Just can't tell if it got there. >> Thank you. >> This has to land 20 uh or 20 ft short of the pin at least. >> Yeah, these shots you don't really practice that often. Oh, and that's not flying enough onto that >> short flat surface there. Oh. Oh, how good a putt is that from Campbell. >> That is some four. Probably feels like a birdie right now. >> Down breeze as we watch Griffin here for a big right to left up. It's fair to say he's hold nothing and that's a relief. >> Well, our visit visiting Canadian here that's playing to the US tour next year. He's had a good fun week. Last couple of weeks played the PGA, missed out in the qualifier for the Austral Open. hung around the sand belt. Two under part. Want this down the left half of the fairway. >> He's got track man. That That's lovely. Perfect. And he's right of that big ridge, too. So, that'll go a mile. >> It sure has. That looked like a little bit of a a left to right down there, Nick. And he's on the up slope. >> Oh, couldn't position that any better. >> 40 yards short of the green. It'll hit a down slope and then it's fingers crossed from there. It's taken off on the perfect line. Oh, here it comes. Oh, hang on. >> Oh, settle. It's going to run over the other edge. But what a shot that was. That would have looked fantastic to him. >> This is crucial here for Leechman. >> All class. >> All class. >> That is fantastic from Leechman. Well, 17 years on, Mark Leeman is a Victorian PGA champion once more, sealing victory here at lives.

Excellent and i bet that means a lot
He grew up playing Warrnambool and Port Fairy and would have played in conditions like that often as a kid. Very steady!
