Episode 2 of the South Florida Showdown continues with two very different challenges, both worth crucial points. The girls first compete in a 2v2 scramble golf match, where teamwork, strategy, and clutch shots matter more than ever. Then it’s off the course and into the kitchen for a blind cookie baking challenge, testing creativity, timing, and composure under pressure.

Welcome back to the South Florida Showdown brought to you by the Golf Girl Games where four girls are competing for an all expense paid trip to Black Desert Resort plus $2500 cash. Previously on the South Florida Showdown, the competition officially began with an obstacle course and a golf match. Phoebe jumped out to an early lead with seven points, followed by Ashley with four, Erica with one, and Lilia still searching for her first. Now the pressure ramps up as the next round of challenges hits South Florida. Gee, today the girls have two chances to earn points. First, we’re heading out to the Fountains Country Club for a 2v2 scramble from the red TE’s. Since Phoebe won last episode, she gets to choose her partner, and each player on the winning team will earn two points. Then after golf, the competition moves off the course with a baking challenge where more points are on the board and some points could be taken away. Let’s get into the golf since Phoebe won. Who are you choosing to be your partner? For my partner, I think I’m gonna have to keep the PB&J trend rolling. So, I think Lilia, my current partner for We had a great little team chemistry going, little PB&J action, and I was like, we got to carry this on. I was excited to be partners with Erica. We had a great chemistry going in the car. A lot of cracking jokes. So, I just knew her as a partner, we were we were going to hit it off. So, we’re playing from the red TE’s. So, obviously it means a lot of shorter clubs into it. I’m thinking we’re just going to lay up at the T- box at a yardage that we like. Yes. Maybe like a 100 yards. Yeah, I like that. That’s still a wedge, but I like that more than like a 60 yard shot. What’s it to the pin? It’s 255. So, that’s what I’m saying. Like, it’s reachable. How about you hit it in the fairway safe? We’re back at the house now for the second part of today’s episode. And this next challenge takes the clubs out of their hands completely. Each girl will step into the kitchen one by one with no recipe, no phones, no directions, and no measuring cups. They’ll have to bake a chocolate chip cookie completely from memory. Once they’re done, we’ll judge the cookies from best to worst. First place earns two points. Second place gets one. Third gets zero and last place loses one point. So with the leaderboard this tight and someone at risk of going into the negatives, this challenge could change everything. Okay, Ashley is our first contestant here. Ashley, you have to bake a chocolate chip cookie with your ingredients. Here we go. I know how to bake chocolate chip cookies like it’s in my sleep until I realized there was no measuring cups. We have a little party f. This butter is not softened. Here, I’ll put it in the mic for like five seconds. We’re going to just eyeball it. Oh, this is called Cooking with Martha Stewart. It’s actually Ashley. We’re going to pack that down. One egg and one egg yolk. Oh, shoot. Okay, it’s a little runny, so we’re just going to Okay, that texture looks right. Watch this be like the worst cookie ever. All right, that looks actually pretty perfect. That’s actually a little too much. Okay. And then flour. It’s 1 and 34 cup of flour. You can always add You can’t take away. Oh, shoot. That might have been a little too much. Can’t take that away. We need more brown sugar these. So, that’s the last. Well, the texture is not correct. Phenomenal job. Okay. So, the first thing I’m going to do is I’m going to take an egg and I’m going to separate it because I don’t need a full egg. If I was making a dozen, I would usually use one whole egg. So, I know I don’t need all of the egg. We have allpurpose flour right here. I just love making chocolate chip cookies, so I make this a lot. Some white sugar now. And then I’m going to take some brown sugar. And then I’m going to grab some baking soda. Um, all right. I’m just going to pour this in my hand to kind of judge. That’s how much I’m having. And that’s how much we’re going to all my dry ingredients. I’m just going to go ahead make sure these are nice and combined. However it turns out is however it’s going to turn out. All right. So, I’m going to strategically grab some egg yolk and pour it in. So, I’m going to take a little bit of butter and I’m going to put it in here. I’m just going to melt this the tiniest bit. So, now I’m just going to take my butter and I’m going to spoon it in because I don’t want to over butter. Here’s my secret trick is that you need to put so much vanilla. Oh, really? Yes. And like it doesn’t make the dough taste amazing, but the cookie and when it bakes out is perfection. I feel like I can do this better than the other girls. And I have high confidence in that. It’s forming as I speak. So, and then I just got to throw in the chocolate chips. All right. Another pro tip. You need to add chocolate chips like there’s no tomorrow. I promise guys, I will make a better chocolate chip cookie. Like, I have a good recipe if this does not turn out. All right, Erica, we’re going to place your cookie in here. Is it good? It’s a little sus though, guys, cuz I think it’s it’s the proportions. All right, here’s Erica’s cookie. All right. Okay. Honestly, this is kind of how I tend to do things anyways. Not a ton of thought process is going into this. It’s really just like a Yep, that looks right. M one egg. Sure. But I tried to impress him. I made banana bread for the first time and I was like, “Oh yeah, like I just did that.” Like this is what I do. It’s the only only time I’ve like ever really baked something on my own. That’s usually the last step. Like you feel like you’re Is that the last step? Usually I No, we’re going to put some brown sugar in there, too. But like something’s really hot here. There is no way that I can go into the negatives right now. I’m guessing one egg, but one egg kind of seems like a lot because I don’t think a whole egg would go in one cookie. And then I think like a decent amount of flour. I’ve made cookies before, so I’m feeling pretty good. I know all of the ingredients that I’m putting into this sugar and then like just a dash. This is going to be a big cookie. And I think that was too much. Okay. And then like literally maybe a little more. Okay. It’s looking like a little I feel like I could put Oh, no. Okay. Not that much. Now it’s looking a little wet. Now that this mixture is coming together, something is not looking right. And it looks like it’s going to be so watery and just spread all over the sheet. A little more flour. I feel like this is like an arm workout at this point. I’m just trying to get all the flour in. I feel like there might be too much. Like it might not even be sweet at this point. Okay, I’m going to try it. I think I think it’s good. How thick are these? I think thicker. All same ingredients, but completely different. So, we don’t know whose cookies is whose. So, we’re going to start. Which one should we start with? Let’s start with this one. Okay. Yeah. I don’t know what it was like if you just like dose this with sugar, but like it tasted pretty good. So, you get a 6.3. Wow. Okay, so basically after today’s cookie challenge, Phoebe came in first, Erica came in second, Lilia came in third, and Ashley came in last. I know I got second place, but if the cookies were cooked more, I know Phoebe would not have won. I know hers was soupy and I didn’t even have to see the dough, but I know baking and I know it was soupy. After today’s challenges, Phoebe is in the lead with nine points, Ashley has six, Erica has four, and Lilia is still at zero. But everything can change next week. We’re testing short game skills with a pup puck challenge and then heading back to the course for a full golf match where the pressure is high and the stakes are even higher. There could be a surprise elimination. And trust me, it’s not what you expect. We’ll see you next week and we’ll see who gets closer to winning the Black Desert Resort trip plus $2,500 cash.
