Knight, what a counter! And now LA Knight with a BFT!
(mat thumping) Blunt Force Trauma! LA Knight!
(mat slapping) (bell ringing)
(crowd cheering) (energetic music) (hopeful music)
On my last day, I want to face whoever is willing to step up and seize the same kind of opportunity I was given on my first day. Therefore, starting a week from Monday on Raw from my hometown in Boston, a 16-man tournament will commence. The field will be chosen at random, filled with competitors from Raw, SmackDown, NXT,
(fireworks blasting) and maybe even some faces who don’t even work here. There will be stars with whom I have a storied history, but even more from a generation of talent that I’ve never gone one-on-one with in my life. (dramatic music) By the time we get to December 13 in Washington D.C. for our next Saturday Night’s Main Event, my final opponent isn’t gonna be hand-picked. It’s going to be hard-earned. To everyone seizing this opportunity, I say good luck. And to the winner, I say for one final time, you want some, come get some! Cena, Cena, Cena, Cena, Cena! (crowd cheering) (Rusev grunting) And he could be going in for it here, Joe. Looking for South of Heaven. Big elbow from-
Oh! Oh, he goes right to that eye! Man, that was close to it.
He went right to that eye. Poke in the eye there,
(Damian groaning) and behind the referee’s back here, gouging that eyeball just like Aleister Black did! And now a machka kick! The machka kick! (mat slapping)
One, two, three! For the win to advance.
(bell ringing) (intense music) Here is your winner, Rusev! See you, Cena.
And that will advance Rusev in the Last Time is Now Tournament, John Cena’s 16-man field that’s randomly drawn, and Rusev gets past an injured Damian Priest. (intense music) One step closer to a date with destiny at Saturday Night’s Main Event with John Cena. That was veteran work by Rusev, attack the eye and deliver. (hands clapping) You know exactly where Shinsuke’s going from here. He may want to end it right here. Lining up. Second time he’s lined up Kinshasa. He may be able to deliver it right here. Oh! Oh, instead,

(crowd gasping) Outta nowhere, Wade! One, two, three!
(mat slapping) (crowd cheering)
(bell ringing) (dramatic music) Here is your winner, Sheamus! One step closer to his ultimate goal. But ultimately, in what was an absolute banger as you’ve come to expect, it was a victory and a progression in the Last Time is Now Tournament, and some healthy respect between two competitors who gave it their all tonight. That is great stuff right there, to shake hands at the end of a match like that, from these two great, spirited fighters, and then for Shinsuke to raise his hand here in Boston.
(crowd cheering) If Sheamus had done that to me, I would never speak to him again. Good for Shinsuke. (crowd chanting) MVP Arena is rocking in support of Jey Uso. But the disrespect drives The Miz. Miz has made a career out of being overlooked. He’s looking for a Skull Crushing Finale from the second rope, Jey Uso just trying to survive here. This could be catastrophic for both of these Superstars.

  1. Would be nice if he faced an up-and-comer, like someone from NXT, but instead they feed him to Gunther, so he can have more heel heat. Very underwhelming this tournament has been.

  2. If WWE has any kind of future vision, they will get Oba Febi to jump Gunther before his match with Cena and let him retire Cena instead.

They might have zero history, but Febi has future star power written all over him, and he would benefit WAY more from the exposure then Gunther.
He is also a much bigger guy and a credible replacement for somebody of Cena's physical stature.

Is it a perfect idea ? No …. ideally, they could have planted some more connection and interaction with Cena the past year, but what can i say …. WWE can strap a rocket to somebody like Jey Uso, yet not look twice at somebody like Febi. They lack vision and the balls the take a gamble on a wildcard.

  3. I’m gonna miss John Cena 😢he is my childhood hero and I don’t wanna say goodbye to the GOAT😢😢😢

  4. Dang their was still some of his best rivals that he didnt fight with one last time Edge, Kurt Angle, Batista.

  5. I think I get it now. I think John Cena wanted to face Oba, but Triple H said no probably, so Cena said well at least showcase nxt then.

  7. John Cena Is Truly A Legendary Icon Of The World!!⚡️⚡️🌎🌎🙏🙏💎💎❤️❤️🐐🐐🐐🐐🐐🐐⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️🌅🌅🌅🌅🌅🌅🌅🌅🌅🌅

  8. One final time, one final match, one extremely difficult opponent. Would the Devil Ring General be able to do the unthinkable, or leave out as he’s always been: The GOAT of the WWE?! 😁😎

  9. John Cena was Hulk Hogan's true successor he's probably the best champion since Hogan. Cody Rhodes will be his successor.
