What do you think the powder in this golf ball is?

testing an exploding golf ball. And if you don’t know what an exploding golf ball is, basically it’s a golf ball that when you hit it just poofs and it goes everywhere. So, I wanted to see how this golf ball worked and what was going on inside. So, I grabbed my little golf ball cutters and I’m cutting it along what I thought would just be a normal spot on this golf ball since it looked totally normal. And then I realized I hit a seam that went around the ball. So, it has this plastic shell and then all of this just white stuff just started coming out of the golf ball. My guess is it’s some kind of powder, but as I was just cutting through it, it started to explode everywhere. But that’s what actually makes this golf ball work so well. You’ve got this little thin outer shell layer that just cracks super easy and it’s stuffed on the inside with all this mysterious white powder. So, when you hit it fast enough with the driver, it’s going to explode all over the place and really leave you wondering what happened to your golf ball. Now, what is this white powder? Your guess is probably as good as mine. I would think it’s going to be something more like flour or cornstarch and not necessarily some other white powders that you might see. But, there’s one thing I know for sure about this golf ball and it leaves an absolute mess whether you’re hitting it or cutting it open. But thankfully, it wipes off with water. So, when you hit it with your driver, just dunk it in water and you’ll be good to go.

  2. Yeah my best guess is that it's some powder as well, it's definitely not water, I know what that looks like! Best bet on what type of powder I'd guess talcum, maybe some starch to be more bio friendly? I don't know, I never golfed so I got no clue what you golfing peeps are all about.

  3. Lmao imagine a semi drives a full load of these through the mexican border. They'll take pictures and everything only for some test to show it's all baking soda
