if ownership call says, “Hey Joe, tell me what to do. What are you telling uh the the Cleveland Browns right now about how to improve and go forward from 2026 and beyond?” Joe, well, I think they made the right move this week naming Shadur Sanders the starter the rest of the way. That was kind of the no-brainer move, but really when you look forward for the rest of the season, these next four games for them are probably the most important four games this franchise has had in 20 years. There’s nothing on the line from a playoff standpoint, but these four games will determine if Shador Sanders is a franchise guy and they build around him in the draft next year or if they feel like he’s not their franchise quarterback and the two first round draft choices that they have in the draft in the spring are going to be used somehow some way on a quarterback. So, what Shadur does in these next four games, if he continues to show consistent growth, big playmaking ability, that leadership that we saw last week, like I I think that they might say, “Hey, we want to give this guy a shot. We want to find another couple weapons to put around him. We want to find a tackle in the draft to help protect him, and we want to give him every opportunity to be the franchise guy moving forward.” And that starts next season as well. So these next four games are are so pivotal for a franchise that’s already out of the playoffs. I just want to continue to see that growth and really for him, he’s making the big plays right now. And so now he’s just got to minimize the negative plays, right? So the bad throws that he’s making occasionally, the bad decisions, um when you can kind of eliminate those, all of a sudden, you know, he had over 300 yards passing last week and had a chance to put him in position to win the game, like you don’t make any of those negative plays. And that’s like a Pro Bowl worthy performance. And so for him, it’s just all about building that experience, taking those little baby steps, getting 1% better every single day.

These next 4 games huh…
They keep on moving that post each n everyday for that boi, while the brown needs an O-line, and a backfield, plus their special team is terrible, but give SS 4 games
Mary Kay Cabot says even if goes out there and shows out for the next 4 games it really isn’t enough of a sample size for her to pass on a quarterback in draft. If my Browns follow that then they deserve to lose going forward.
Guys it's easy to see the Prejudice and talking with a fork tongue from these guys talking about he needs to prove it. He's not even considering the accomplishments that SS has made dealing with all the pressure dealing with all of the BS that he's had to deal with since the draft. these talking heads have no clue. QUITE already 😂
Can’t get Mendoza and unless Moore comes out that’s the only one better than Shedeur so it’s really not hard
I watched Nathan Peterman throw 4 interceptions in a half & still get starting jobs & contracts. The hate is personal with Sanders
The bears are going to blitz him and make him turn it over. Not a fair run to have these games and not a full season to grow and see growth.
FOH! He’s already shown he can lead a franchise. This narrative is so condescending. Collusion leads to confusion. The media is complicit.
Can this guy coach?
What qb dont make a bad play from time to time.
Cleveland is a garbage city with a franchise that embodies that perfectly 😂😂😂
So all Shadeur has to do is stop doing the bad things and do more of the good things? Well thank you very much for that insightful take Mr Football Expert. 😅
Folks… don’t pay much mind to what this guy says. He has NO true idea of how much time the Browns will give Shadeur to “prove himself”, or at the least, he doesn’t have a better idea than any other human being on the planet.
Anyone who watched 10 minutes of college football knew that Sanders was much better than screen pass Gabriel, these coaches and scouts are idiots
Why is it that Shedeur is the only one in this draft that has to prove himself every time he plays? He’s already proven himself it’s just that the haters don’t want to realize it. The fact he has played this well with only a few weeks or a month of 1st team reps. The fact that Cam Ward and Jaxon Dart has been getting 1st team reps from the very beginning and they only won 2 games a piece. Shedeur has done a lot in these last few games. And like he said just imagine what he could do if he had more team reps and time. Y’all expect him to be darn near perfect in order for him to be considered as the franchise qb but don’t have that same energy when it comes to Cam and Jaxon. That’s crazy!
I like the group of qbs next year better than the group of qbs this year. Sayin, manning over Simpson and mendoza
This is so far out of control,, last week was 7 minutes to go he was flirting with a 30% completion rate down 2 scores it's all he can do to complete 50% of his passes
They've softened up the quarterback position so much with QB protection rules we've got these kids playing the game that are too skinny or untalented because they have a large social media following the NFL wants to milk their fans for every dime they can get
These next four games are too big to fix too big to rig no way he can fail into looking good again
Hopefully this is going to end so we can get back to enjoying football without anointing people gods
How can you fairly evaluate Sanders with no talent around him and poor scheme by the coaches. I have seen enough that build around Sanders but you need better coaches, players
Sheduer STILL has to PROVE himself despite being the NUMBER ONE rated ROOKIE QB for games he's started thus far? GTFOH!
They need to build around him.. then get a QB after.. no QB is gonna succeed in Cleveland under stefanski as head coach
ok lets here the excuse this weekend for the horrible loss for shedeur today against the bears 😂😂😂
Did you expect him to say no, no, he’s said what’s expected he say.
he could be if Clevland wants more of what they have had as a Pittsburgh fan I hope they keep him.hey joe howd he do today lol
