Will Klein put together an incredible outing in relief for the Los Angeles Dodgers in Game 3 of the World Series, tossing four scoreless innings while allowing only one hit and striking out five as he earned the win against the Toronto Blue Jays.

The last man out of the Dodger bullpen is Will. Another guy with a great arm. Electric fast ball, 65, 230 pounder, 25 years of age, comes home to David Schneider with a fast strike. Now he pitched in game one of this World Series. It was his postseason debut. He hadn’t pitched for the Dodgers in a month. He only pitched for him 14 times all year. Will Klein in his career has a 516 VR, but he’s the last option down there. [Music] Top of the order here. Schneider, Lucas, Guerrero. Line trying to do what Henriquez did is 02. Popped out. Got under it. What Enriquez did was exceed expectations. Got six outs. First outs he’s gotten in a month. Schneider’s down on a high fast ball. Strike from CL. I mean, both these guys, Enriquez and Clark, who have struggled with command, have come out looking cool as could be. [Applause] Then you you can’t say they got nothing to lose. They got everything to lose. Been impressive. The 1-1 pitch. Strike two on Isaiah counterpa. [Music] Call Otani Bet in the bottom of the 15th inning. [Music] Connor trying to give him something they haven’t had since the 11th. That is a guy in scoring position. Hard to put away. Doesn’t hit it that hard, but he’s very hard to strike out. [Music] Isaiah Confer who’s from Hawaii, grew up dreaming of being the next Derek Jeter, playing for the New York Yankees, which he got to do. Second stint with the Blue Jays now. Lays off and the count is two and two. They signed him prior to last season. They traded him away to the Pirates last year. That’s where the Blue Jays season was last year. They’re trading dudes. Last place team. First place team this year. They were buyers and they bought him back. He takes strike three. Will Klein join the parade. Levers taking bounds to the bottom of the 15th. As has been the case twice in extra innings. Will Smith is going to lead off the bottom of the 16th. [Applause] [Music] Oh, and 200 straw. He catches the ball and throws it. He is I mean on he five erra over 22 major league games. Will Klein in game three of the World Series. and scoreless innings. And if the Dodgers can walk it off in the bottom of the 16th, pitchers delight ball on Jimenez. You talk about Lowour being a hero for the Blue Jays. How about Edgardo Henriquez and Will Klein for the Dodgers? Guys that weren’t even on the team coming into this World Series throughout the postseason. They’ve combined four and a third, no runs, only one hit. Two and one on Jimenez. And again, the bullpens are the problem with these two teams. Everybody digging deep, changing that narrative tonight, giving their best. This guy, I’m impressed. Former catcher or not, he is in the moment. Here is his 2-2. [Applause] Well, we saw Gimenez in Seattle. Two unexpected two-run homers when he was trying to get the runner over. If there’s ever a time to sell out for a fast ball, it’s coming. 3-2. And if he happens to throw Uncle Charlie, oh well. There was the fast ball and it was Biden. Fourth strikeout for Will Klein in two and two/3 scoreless innings. And the backup catcher, strike one. and Klein looked over there and said, “I’m fine.” And then flame 97 into the strike zone. Yeah. Games like this a lot of times you find unlikely heroes. Dipping deep onto the list here with Heinman at the plate. Hinaman came in. It’s a pinch run for Alejandro Kirk. That was in the 12th. [Music] First postseason appearance for Idaho. One of the dugouts is going to explode right here. It’s either going to be the Dodgers and the heroic effort that you just mentioned or it’s going to be the Blue Jays with a hit. Klein’s one-1 in the dirt. Kicks away from Smith and they’re in second and third with two out. This is the first time the Blue Jays have had a runner in scoring position since the 12th inning. [Applause] That’s how good Will Klein has been. Four innings from him you never would have seen coming after two innings from Edgardo Enriquez that were perfect that you never would have saw coming. So many guys making names for themselves tonight. [Music] We need a shoe scraper. Nothing worse than that. Meaning getting mud caked in those spikes. It’s like wearing ice skates. See how it’s all caked right there? And he can’t. That’s Yeah, let somebody else do it. That’s not an easy job for a pitcher who’s already gassed. [Applause] Good job, Brandon. You got your little World Series moment. And Will Klein, how do you not love this guy? Going out here and doing what he’s never done, what nobody’s expecting him to do, and smiling all the while. Two balls in a strike on Tyler Heinman. Klein comes home. Ball three. Remember this inning was a half inch away from ending on a double play. Exactly right. That’s just what we were saying. You just two outs innocent man on first. Could have been nobody on inning over now over there at third as the three comes home and catches the inside corner. Strike two. [Applause] 72 pitch for a guy who had never thrown more than 30. An unbelievable stop from Will Klein. We’ll talk about his name forever. It doesn’t matter what he does the rest of his life. The name Rick Rene is going to live on. This game does to the bottom of the 18. [Music] [Applause]

  1. Okay but ump gave us that one let’s not lie it should have been a walk bases loaded 2 outs top of the 18th we got lucky throughout this entire series

  2. Happiest guy on the planet…the low-level functionary at some sports agency who was given Will Klein's contract to "manage" along with a bunch of other "fillers"…someone's getting PAID!

  3. They need to hang his jersey up at dodger stadium. That was absolutely amazing that he showed no fear and got through 3 scoreless innings with domination. So many great moments in this series that I’ll never forget. This one is up there for sure. He will forever be a legend. That was an amazing game. It was so hard to watch. But also so thrilling. I was on pins and needles the whole game.
