The 2025 Grant Thornton Invitational might not be a official Tour event, but the millions of dollars in the Grant Thornton Invitational purse are very much real. The stars in the field from the PGA Tour and LPGA Tour are playing for lots of money on Sunday.
The total purse for this week’s mixed-team event is $4 million. That money, of course, is not broken out evenly among the 16 teams playing the tournament.
The victorious team will walk away with a winner’s share of $1 million split evenly between them. But every team will get paid something for their troubles, no matter their scores. The last-place finishers, for example, will earn $120,000 to share.
In Sunday’s final round at Tiburon Golf Club, Nelly Korda and Denny McCarthy are attempting to pull off a big comeback to capture the title. Meanwhile, 54-hole leaders Lauren Coughlin and Andrew Novak are trying to hold on for the win.
