My local area is experiencing record flooding and today we lost the driving range. A tough week in Western Washington as a whole.

Practice like you play – still good for me since that’s usually where my ball ends up anyways

Dude just take a drop, 1 stroke penalty. C’mon, this is golf rules 101

Not the only facility like this either. Saw Snoqualmie Falls GC was under water as well.

Stay Safe OP. I don’t live there anymore, but seeing the flooding up there *And Snoqualmie Falls…* its scary stuff based on what I know what its supposed to look like.

Jesus christ, I used to go here 3 times a week last year before I moved to pinehurst.

I do believe that qualifies as “casual water” even though they don’t use that term anymore n

Damn man… I grew up in Snohomish. This is sad to see

  8. Such a bummer considering this is one of the better ranges in the area 😔

Another atmospheric river is supposed to arrive on Monday so I doubt this will drain for a while.

Looks like they were able to clear everything away before the floods came, which is good.

I use orange balls for these conditions

One of my fav practice facility! Made several trips up there from Puyallup just to use the grass range and have a beer with an order of burnt ends. Hopefully the damage are minimal!

    Tomorrow morning …

“morning pro. Are we on 18 greens yet?”

Never a bad time to practice a few swings of the old ball retriever

Did they leave the sprinklers on overnight?

My son lived in Kent a few years ago and I played at a course called Riverbend. Wonder if it’s under water as well?

Was gonna go after work yesterday morning, but saw that it was closed. Sounds like they were proactive in getting as much out of there as they could, so hopefully damage is minimal.

I was hoping water would stay away far enough from the tee boxes that I could give skimming the pond a try.

Gotta love these NW atmospheric rivers. Crazy!

  18. Looks like casual water. Free drop, light work

Greens will be pretty soft today. So you can just play to the exact pin distance.

Hope they recover fully. One of the very few grass ranges in the Seattle area that is open to the public. Would be a shame to see them go away.

hope everyone is safe. thats a lotta water i’ve been hearing about…

Working as intended. Lands are marked as undevelopable due to risks such as 100-year floods. At least the grass is well watered there. Hope things will be ready by Spring.
