What is up my fellow golf ball addicts? Welcome back. We are in the top 30 now. 30 through 21 coming in hot. Let’s dive right in. [Music] As always, if you’d like to support the channel further and you like this content, we have a membership that just starts at a dollar. Thank you to everyone who does that so much. I hope everyone’s having a less stressed time getting ready for Christmas cuz we’re almost here. So, uh, you know, I don’t know how you celebrate, but I just hope that you’re at peace, my friend. All right, let’s dive right into this. Okay, let’s start with number 30. And at 30, we have [Music] the Pinfold Ace. And this is one of my favorites. Um I I want to go ahead and just uh say this off the rip. Uh I I’m pretty sure the golf ball’s been discontinued at this point. Um it’s not available on their website anymore. This is only as of like a week ago. I don’t know if they’re going to bring it back. I mean, it’s not even like saying sold out. It’s just not on there. And so I don’t know, uh, really disappointing because it is a great model golf ball. It’s kind of in that boutique line a little bit. They do the whole, you know, hearts and, you know, jack of club, you know, that kind of thing. It’s like a casino gambling style. Has a lot of history behind it. But this new model they came out with a couple years ago was really good. It’s a fourpiece. It was a urethane. It was about $40 a dozen. And if we look at the metrics, as you can see, 13th when it comes to 50 yard spin, pitching wedge is just okay, but the spin is awesome. But then look at the rest of all that green. 33rd when it comes to yards, 15th when it comes to ball speed with the seven, 17th when it comes to spin with the seventh, 14th on driver distance, eighth on driver ball speed, and then spin, it was kind of in the middle there, probably like 22 to 2,300 somewhere in there. So, not bad. That’s actually pretty decent for a fourpiece. Overall, a fantastic fantastic performance. If we look at the intangibles, as you can see, uh it it spun on the green 50%. That’s not bad. That’s solid. Uh overall the performance metrics are what really carry this golf ball to the top and they are phenomenal. So if this golf ball is gone I am kind of disappointed. It was really cool. It was unique. [Music] The Vice Tour Jr. and I’m really excited about this one. I’ve been kind of anticipating it because this is what I love about the channel, right? is that I know a lot of you look at this golf ball and you say, “Junior, like what what are you what are you talking about?” Like, that’s what makes it so special. You never know how a golf ball is going to test until you test it. And the reason I bring that up is because the Vice Pro series, which this is the video, I’ll show a picture. The Vice came out with two this year and then Bridgestone came out with one this year of junior balls designed, you know, for younger crowd, whatever you want to call it. Um, this was the worst performing ball review I put out this year. It by far had the least amount of views of any other review I did. I mean, there were like rangefinder reviews that got more. The thing is is that I I get it. I know a lot of you looked at it and said, “Junior, I don’t need that.” You know, and you didn’t watch it, and that’s fine. I get it. I get it. But I would encourage you always, even if you just have to click through, check it out because look at these metrics. This is what we’re looking at here. 25th when it came to 50 yard spin. It’s excellent. It actually checks up pretty decently well. Seventh on the yards with pitching wedge, eighth on the ball speed spin, not so great with the pitching wedge, but number one in seven iron distance. And that’s because look at the spin. It had by far the lowest seven iron spins. That’s still really impressive to be the longest golf ball of the year. And then with the driver, of course, I overcompressed it because yeah, I mean, it’s a junior ball. Of course, I overcompressed it at that point, right? But those are awesome metrics. But what gets even better is the intangibles. If we look at this, when it comes to the Vice Junior Tour, four out of five on accuracy, five out of five on consistency, five out of five on feel, and five out of five on forgiveness. That’s really special and that’s why a lot of you have really like a couple of you I know have tried it and really liked it. That’s why because it’s very consistent. It’s easy to lower your score. Does it fit my game great? No. I would need a little bit more seven iron spin than what this gave. But my point is this, right? Whether you like or don’t like this golf ball, open your mind. Just because it says junior doesn’t mean it’s not going to be good. Just because it’s a two-piece doesn’t mean it’s not going to be good. This golf ball explodes off the club face. I mean, with minimal effort. Really great model and I’m impressed. At number 28, we have [Music] another one of my favorites, the Mizuno Pro S model. And um you know, the X was a little bit further down because I think it’s for faster swing speeds, but this S is actually a really nice blend for the average swinger. Uh if we look at the metrics here, as you can see, 50 when it comes to 50 yard spin, that’s great. Third in yards for pitching wedge. First in ball speed. That’s awesome. 80th in spin, so it’s kind of a mid spin. It’ll get the job done. 54th in yards. 40th in ball speed. And 26th when it came to seven iron spin. Those are awesome numbers. Driver. Yeah, maybe I was kind of, you know, maybe it’s a little soft. Maybe it just doesn’t have that explosiveness off the tee that other firmer golf balls will, but that gets the job done. You’re only going to lose a few yards off the tee. And what you’re gaining from that is, you know, those other metrics that are great. you know, the 50-yard spin, the pitching wedge, the seven iron, the the explosiveness, the feel. Look at the intangibles here. As you can see, 90% on greenside spin, which is awesome. Um, that that’s like I mean, it’s so hard for a golf ball to get 90%. So, that’s amazing. Four out of five on the forgiveness. But there’s one thing that holds this golf ball back, and I think it’s universal. I I tend to think this way. Everyone on YouTube I’ve I’ve seen tends to think this way. The durability is dog dookie. And that’s the nicest way I can say it. It’s It’s awful. You can only get through like nine holes before the golf ball is just mangled. I’ I’ve seen reviewers on YouTube say that they love the golf ball and they’re so heartbroken because they want to play it, but they can only last a few holes and it’s toast. If Mizuno can figure that out, this could be a top 10 golf ball. It’s really good. But that durability is so terrible. It is so dog water. Fix it. Fix it. And and and this golf ball could be even higher on this list. At number 27, we have [Music] the Maxfly Trifly. Now, I know a lot of you don’t I mean, there’s some of you who don’t care for the Trifly. You think it’s too soft or it just doesn’t come off the club very well. It’s not for everybody. for the but for the people it is for and who fit the prototype that it’s trying to do. It’s an amazing golf ball. It really is. The value is unheard of. It’s three-piece. It’s not urethane, but it kind of looks like it might be discontinued. More on that in a second. We’ll see. But look at the metrics here. 28th when it came to 50 yard spin. Pitching wedge, not so great. But when it came to seven iron performance, not bad at all. It spun a lot. And then look at the driver. Sixth in driver spin. So it had really low driver spin, 67th in yards, which is great. But again, are those numbers mind-blowing? Are those worthy of the top 20, you know, top 30 in the 20s? No. But what makes it even better is the intangibles. Looking at that, we have 45% on greenside spin, which is awesome for the value, 9 out of 10 on durability, 10 out of 10 on value, and five out of five on accuracy. And those things help propel this golf ball up a little bit and get it into the 20s. I hope they keep it. It’s an it’s a really underrated model from MaxFly. I think a lot of people immediately look at that tour series or if they don’t they look at the straight fly or the Softfly. I think this is kind of the run of the litter and that’s a shame because it’s so far the best one I’ve tested this year. At number 26 we have [Music] the Red Lobster Lobby Pure. So this was golf ball. I think it was like 14th or 13th last year. Still an amazing model. This is from Germany. I think it’s a German company. Uh very unique looking golf ball as you can tell. You know, it has the Red Lobster on there. I love that. They just came out with a new model called the Bold, which I’m in the middle of testing right now. That’s great. Uh but let’s look at the performance. As you can see, second when it comes to 50 yard spin, phenomenal. 51st when it comes to yards, 34th ball speed. Spin top notchotch. It’s a spinning golf ball. If you like spinners, here you go. 92nd when it comes to yards with the seven iron, but first when it comes to seven iron spin. That’s pretty incredible. All the spins are in the top 10 when it comes to irons. Then when we look at driver, ball speed 15th, yards is 43rd. Spin is really, really, really high and that’s what hurt it. That driver performance as far as the ball speed is phenomenal. But it spins so much that you end up losing a little bit of distance and that’s what causes it. So if you’re someone who hits the ball really low and you need that extra spin, it could be great for you. A lot of European balls are that way. They they launch really low and they have extra spin. doesn’t quite fit my personal swing, but if it fits yours, this is a great model. Intangibles, looking at that, four out of five on accuracy, four out of five on consistency, nine out of 10 when it comes to durability. All really solid. This is a great golf ball. And what I really love is if you buy it, it comes in a bag already, like a little ball shag bag, which is great. And it comes in this really cool container, which I love. I have one over here. You can’t see it, but it’s on my shelf. It’s cool. It’s unique. It’s affordable. It’s all the things I expect a direct to consu consumer company to be, but it also performs well, which is a plus. At number 25, we have [Music] the Dino Wings Max Distance golf ball. Now, this golf ball was ranked much lower last year, but to be fair, last year value and design, all that played a much more important part. You guys spoke, you wanted performance to be the main factor. So, here it is. And looking at this golf ball, it is kind of weird. It’s really expensive. This is what it looks like, you know? I mean, it’s it’s unique for sure. But performance-wise, we are looking at 100th and 50 yard spin. Not a spinning golf ball. Fifth, fifth, 60th, second, third. When it comes to distance with the pitching wedge and the seven iron, it is top five in all four categories. Hard to beat. seventh when it comes to uh total distance with the driver, 17th when it comes to ball speed, second when it comes to lowest spin. It was the second lowest spinning, only behind or in front, however you want to say it. The MaxFly Tour X, amazing numbers. It’s a two-piece distance golf ball, but it just absolutely explodes off the club. My main knock is expensive. It’s $35 a dozen. I am not big on that. But the other intangibles, as you can see, uh yeah, we talked about the value there, but also looking at the uh consistency, two out of five, not great. So, if you’re wondering why this golf ball didn’t get higher on the list, that’s why. Because the intangibles, not great. But the performance, one of the best I’ve seen. At number 24, we have [Music] the Tailor Made Distance Plus. I’ll tell you what, they did a phenomenal job with this golf ball this year. Haven’t really cared for it in the past years, but they’ve made some changes and it performed really, really well. Uh it’s a two-piece distance golf ball. This is what it looks like. Um you know, looking at the performance, 93rd when it came to spin, 20th, 14th, 62nd, 59th. Uh really good throughout. Look at that. Seven iron spin third. That’s awesome. Driver performance was good. It was good. 52nd when it came to ball speed, 60 when it came to yards, but the spin again was just too high. That seems to be a common problem with Tailor Made when it comes to their golf balls is off the driver. They just spin a lot. I don’t know why, but they just do. Uh, looking at the intangibles though, that’s what makes this golf ball really stand out. As you can see, five out of five on accuracy, five out of five on consistency, five out of five on forgiveness and all of those things. For a golfer who is average, intermediate, high handicapper, that’s what you need. You need that consistency, you need that forgiveness, and you need that accuracy just to keep the ball in the center of the fairway, I think this golf ball could lower a lot of your scores. And I like the little alignment tool, too, how it has, you know, both lines so you can line your face up as well. That’s great for golfers who are still trying to get consistent with their game. At number 23, we’re uh oh, you know what that means, everyone? Hot take. A ball that’s played by many of you. Many of you mention it. It’s a hot in the comments. I see it all the time. We’re looking at [Music] the Zar Diamond by Stricken. uh this golf ball. You know, Stricken’s Tour lineup this year has impressed me. Even though not all of them are optimal for me. I love what they’re doing. I love that they’re kind of choosing to be more feel and control over just explosive distance and that’s it. It’s not a onetrick pony. There’s a lot of love and detail in here. Looking at this golf ball when you look at the, you know, performance. 33rd in 50 yard spin. Uh 35th in ball speed, 19th in spin when it came to pitching wedge. 42nd 7 iron. 30th in ball speed on the 7iron. 35th in spin. Again, driver is better than the Zstar regular. Still kind of in that average. And that’s that’s what I’ve talked about, right? I’ve talked about how the Zstar lineup this year, it was okay taking a few yards off the driver to make the rest of the clubs really shine and especially make it to where you could really have a lot of touch control feel. Um, I love that. I think this is a golf ball for tinkers. I think it’s for people who have great ball striking capabilities, really want to bend the ball left and right, but it also has a little bit of forgiveness packed in there, which is really nice for a tour ball. Not all of them have that. The intangibles, as you can see, when it comes to the diamond, 85% spin on the green. That’s phenomenal. Five out of five on accuracy. That’s great. This is an awesome golf ball. And if you’re thinking about a tour golf ball from an average swing point, you know, kind of thing, the Diamond’s a great place to start. At number 22, we have [Music] the Bridgestone Electron. This is another junior ball. One of my favorite two-piece models of the year. This is from that video I mentioned earlier where it was my worst performing review of the year. This is why you never know. This golf ball is so great when it comes to just being consistent, forgiving. I think this golf ball could lower a lot of mid to high handicapper scores. I really do. If we look at the um you know metrics here, 61st, 45th, 44th, you know, 88th, not great. Uh 7 iron performance, pretty solid. Everything’s kind of in that middle ground there. And then you have a driver performance, which is kind of the low 80s and early 90s. Um those metrics, again, are those metrics deserving of the 20s? Absolutely not. But this is what makes it really stand out and really worth being in the spot it’s in. Five out of I’m just going to list all these. Five out of five on accuracy, five out of five on consistency, 10 out of 10 on durability, five out of five on feel, four out of five on miship feel, seven out of 10 on value, and four out of five on design. That’s the first time this whole entire time I’ve mentioned all the, you know, extra metrics, you know, like the the u intangibles. That’s what makes this golf ball really stand out. And there’s a couple of you that did try it. A couple really, you know, indepth golf ball addicts went out and tried it and all of you love it. Shout out Blake. I’ve seen you a couple times. I know you like it. It’s a great golf ball. It’s well deserving of this. And if you need a good two-piece golf ball, maybe a good winter ball, check out this one. It’s definitely worth it. They also put these really cool messages on it like integrity, honesty. They have different colors. It’s kind of unique, you know? It’s kind of It’s just fun. It stands out. I like that, too. At number 21, we have again, okay, to close it out. We’ve been very fortunate with the alarm. It’s been to close out videos. I didn’t plan it that way. It just worked out that way. This is another popular popular model. And we are looking at number 21, [Music] the Vice Pro. Now, Vice, I understand. I want to address something. A lot of you in the comments are very confused about Vice because Vice for years has dominated the top 10. And I understand now they don’t. And I understand you’re like, “It’s the same model from last year.” I would advise all of you to just read through the comments. They just don’t feel the same. They don’t act the same. All the spin’s gone. So, I know some of you are like, “Nick, this is not right. Like, this has to just be your swing and this is not There’s something going on.” I mean, you can choose not to believe that, but my opinion, sure, you don’t have to take that at face value. 16 people in three videos are telling you, “Hey, I don’t play it anymore because there’s something going on.” That’s a lot. So, there’s something going on there. I don’t know what it is. I’m going to address it with them when it comes to the PGA show this year. I’m going to ask him about it, but the feedback’s not been great. Now, let’s talk about why the Pro is an amazing model and why it’s still basically in the top 20, almost 21, top 21. Let’s look at the metrics. 74th when it comes to spin, 25th when it comes to yards, 31st when it comes to ball speed with the pitching wedge. It did not spin a lot. And that’s been a big issue. A lot of you say it doesn’t spin like it used to, and I agree. 26th with the yards, 53rd when it came to the ball speed, and then 104th with the spin. Again, it’s not spinning very much. It’s kind of wanting to act like a prov a little bit. 26th in driver distance, 29th in driver ball speed, and 76th in spin. Those performance metrics are awesome. They’re actually really good across the board. Again, I wish the spin was a little higher on, you know, the irons, but it’s it’s kind of disappointing in that regard. There’s just not a lot of bite. But the intangibles do kind of keep it afloat here. If we look 50% on the green side spin, four out of five on accuracy, four out of five on consistency. Value is a 10 out of 10. And let’s also talk about those amazing designs. They come in all these, you know, crazy awesome designs that I love. They have the Tracer model this year. That helps it a little bit, too. So, the Pro is a great model. And um, you know, I if you’re wanting to play a Vice Ball, if you’re wanting to try one, the Pro is probably where I would start this year. Haven’t been too impressed with the other two. I mean, the there is not bad. It was just a video ago, so it’s not so bad. Two videos ago, but still really great performance from Vice, but there’s something going on there. Guys, that is the end of this lineup. Uh, from here on out, it’s top 20. And if you’re in the top 20, you are a superstar in my eyes. I mean, you really are. Anything in the top 20 is just a flatout winner superstar. I will see you in two days. Thank you so much. As always, keep watching, keep saving so that you can keep learning. Next time.

  1. I picked up the Electron a couple of weeks back after watching one of your “round up” videos. I’m still waiting to give it a try though.

  2. Got the 48 pack of trifli for $45 during Black Friday. Can’t wait to test them
    Best deal so far

  3. Would love to hear about other’s putting experience with the trifli? Nick’s reaction putting with it reminded me of when you accidentally drink sour milk🤢

  4. I’m wondering if the different covers and designs Vice offers, has an effect on the performance? Maybe this is why they feel different from last year and don’t spin as much🤨

  5. Dang… both my gamers are out this round 28 & 23. Mizuno pro s and Z star diamond. the numbers were good and in line with how I feel about both so I’ll take it. And I completely agree with green side spin and durability with the pro s. However the buy 2 get 1 free ($33) is a steal. Surprised you didn’t mention that.

  6. How do you define accuracy, consistency, and forgiveness? I think I understand accuracy being left to right dispersion and forgiveness being distance dispersion, but what is consistency then?

  7. As I’ve mentioned before I’m a trifli guy. Hopefully it comes back but at least I bought 48 of them last time. And after I watched the jr ball video I sent it to my buddy who has a younger son that is learning to play. He went straight to the local pro shop and bought some for the kids birthday. This channel has been great for me and my friends. Great job, Nick!

  8. Old Fat Man Golfing, Maxfli Trifli Course Report: well behaved and predictable golf ball, it is way more accurate than I am capable of, I get good distance and enough spin to be meaningful. It stands up very well to Arizona Desert Combat Golf, it play rocks, thorns, gravel and trees as good as anything out there. I have to admit, when I am ferreting in out of the fairway places, I keep coming back with a pocket full of OPB (other people's balls) and then the testing is out the window. Just saying I find Pro V1s two or three to any other brand. However I will qualify my indiscretions with the fact I bought 9 dozen of the TriFlis, I intend to game them. I have a question for YOU Nick, can you give us a summary of the criteria, I know I know you already did, but you didn't, give us the range of travel from 1st to 121st, say 247yds to 286yds, spin pw 4800 to 9700, 7 iron yards 153 yds to 167yds, I guess what I'm fishing for is how close is the performance from 1st to 121st, it replaces a ranking with a data point so we are able understand how close. the performance is across the board? Thanks Nick, Great Video !!!!!!

  9. Thank you for the heads up on the price for the MaxFli TriFli for Ten bucks a dozen!! Then tonight finding out it’s a top 30, playing the SoftFli this year and loved the added distance for my swing speed across the board. Giving the TriFli this coming new year. Love the Channel and keep up the great work!!!

  10. Alright Nick, I have a few things to say. Bear with me.

The Junior and the Electron ball are exactly why I'm here. I can't play it, I swing to fast. But I wish I could. I LOVE those kinds of reviews. Finding the stuff I don't know about or wouldn't think about is where I get excited about your channel.

Maxfli. Out of Straight Fli, Trifli, and Softfli, the Trifli has always been my favorite. Kinda shocked nobody like it! It's great.

Tte MG Senior is the ball I keep waiting to see. I hope it's number just so I can see everyone freak out about how it isn't fair that an "illegal" ball won the championship 🏆

And last, this video was SO GOOD!! Every ball on this list is great! Wow! The next 20 are going to be special to watch if that was 30-21.

  11. a little dissapointed where the z star ended up but it doesn't change the fact that it's one of my favorites

  12. Would you be able to do a "How/why to buy a golf ball" video and explain simple terms such as:

    Construction (Pieces / Layers)
    Core types
    Covers
    Materials
    Compression
    Dimple Patterns and shape/size
    Feel
    Spin Characteristics
    Launch Characteristics
    Durability
    Colour & Visibility
    Special Technologies & Extras
    Pricing Tier
    Other Fitting Considerations

  13. Wow, I'm German, but I've never heard of Red Lobster Golfing. I'll definitely keep an eye out for them.
You mention that some brands come from Germany. I've never heard you say that about Vice Golf. Maybe you didn't know?

  14. Amazing video series.

The most exciting questions are for me:

    – What music is coming next?

    – What are the top 5 golf balls?

    – How high up are Wilson Boost (my gamer) and Wilson Triad (maybe my next gamer)?

    – Will we see two hot takes in a row?

  15. So far it looks like no one has a huge problem with where these golf balls ended up. Shows you have really done a good job on how you evaluated golf balls this year

  16. A bit disappointing about the Mizuno Pro S! I have a friend, Mizuno fan boy, pro bag, ALL clubs in the bag, clothing, shoes, balls raves about the Pro S! I need to replace my tube of short game practice balls and was considering them based on him wearing me down! Now I see your top 30 and it gives me to think! Pointless having a short game ball that is only going to last 5 minutes! Part of the reason I watch and recommend the GBA channel!

  17. Were you able to test the Vice Tour this year ?
It did well in the robot testing you made a video on, and the value seems good so I would think it could do well in the top 100.

  18. Really enjoying this series. You’ve done a fantastic job.
Please do find out more about the Vice Pro situation . I’m debating if I want to stick with it in 2026. As usual, you nailed the assessment.

  19. Playing the Diawing now! It is long, feels soft, it’s very good for my winter play here in the Mid Atlantic! I also play the MG Senior which spins more but is just as long! My friends think it’s my 2025 Cleveland HiBore driver, it’s the balls!
