I played the top flite tour irons in the 90βs they were actually good irons, Lee Trevino, Payne Stewart and others played them.
For all those out there who think that new 8,000 set of irons will fix their game

i have a Wilson Sam Snead 2 iron BLADE in my current bag. i learned from a full set of sam snead irons and legit wooden woods. whenever i use open backs, they always feel heavier an chunkier than i like.
Iβm still using a set of those Topflite Tour irons, great clubsπ

I bought a cheap 1 iron from K mart that cost nearly nothing. I use to hit that cheap 1 iron 260!
I actually had a set and did not really like them.
I played these irons for a decade, got down to around an 8 handicap with them.
Got my father's Wilson X1011 investment cast Irons ,nulite lite steel shafts and the same chamois hand grips never changed for 63 years . Five Iron – sand wedge. Aloha Boggie Blues.
Rory is a great player, pity that some obnoxious American fans don't appreciate his golf like in the Riders Cup which was a discraceful performance by some spectators that should be banned for life!
Love rory and hes sorted those putting woes (its all relativeππ)out the last 2 years or so with brad faxon who was a fantastic usa putter in his day..
I was there in 2014 in the ryder cup singles last day when he destroyed rickie fowler over the first 6 holes..
I think the scorecard said 17 shots for 6 holes ..
