Well, you hate to start with some bad news, but let’s take a look at the boys in the bubble. This is Chai Sudsum of Thailand, 63rd. Paris at the eighth is 17. A 74 for three over. I’m afraid his card has gone. And the same applies to the Argentinian veteran Miguel Carvio 66th. And the order of merit only a par at nine 71 two over he’s gone two and it’s going to be an anxious afternoon for Justin Keban. My goodness a miss at his final hole. 73 two under. That’s right on the cut line. Yes. But no such worries for Asian tour rookie Charles Porter has a top finish of tied second this year. trying to better that. This birdie at the eighth will move him to three under par for the round. Nine under for the tournament in good place for his first win. And the Asian order of merit leader Kazuki Higa got off to a blitzing start. Three under par after five holes. And this birdie will move him to four under at his 10th hole, the first and he would bogey the second and come right back with a birdie here at the third. Kazuki Eiga trying to conclude his second four win season. He sits at nine under par total and Jazz looking for his eighth Asian Tour win has found a lot of trust in his TO green game. It’s his second shot into the par four fifth will set up his third birdie of the round at the par 37th. A beautiful T-shot setting up his fourth birdie against no bogeies and Jazz sits at 10 under par through two rounds and that’s good enough for a share of the lead at this stage. A 68 for Jazz Septac Talwis coming towards the end of his second round. He too is on 10 under. Charles Porter, the 6’9 in San Franciscan, a 69 for 9 under alongside Kazuki Higa, who has all but wrapped up this year’s order of merit. Bjorn Hilgrren got off to a nice start today. Eagle his very first hold, a par 510th after a bogey free round of 66 yesterday. This is Saptac Talwis the Indian for a closing birdie. Oh, frustrating for the Indian Jack Thompson. Lovely. Nice feeling. All he needs to do now is just keep it going. I know that’s an easy thing to say, but eight under par. 66 yds left for the American. And I mean, he likes to put a little draw spin on pretty much every club through the bag. So, he doesn’t have to try to fit this in a window between the branches. He can just sort of skirt the tree on the right hand side and sling a low drawing pit shot just like that. Touch of glass there from Johnny Boy. A pretty look for MJ Maguire. There you go. Back towards the clubhouse on the night. Pim. Oh, that’s a lovely shot. Jack Thompson turn below the level of the 15th Samson to move to three under par for his round. A very attempt for Ahmad Big and Ahmad Big three under today. Ramos for a birdie. Yes. Nice. They hold. Be’s got to be thinking just birdie all the way here. Got a shot out of the fairway. A fairly open pin. Boy oh boy did Wishan Wang tattoo that drive. I have that at 353 yds off the te. He’s just got a 100 yards left of the hole. But again having watched the ball reaction of John Katlin to just flank this one down. Land it short but that’s coming in with some heat. Yeah, that’s more like it. Gorgeous shot, Jack Thompson. Oh, better than okay. 17th eighth hole for Bjö Hgrim. Run out. Well, nice. Nicely cut. [Music] Pretty decent result from a pretty unpredictable spot for super mate. It’s a bit of a tufty line here, but he’s got green to work with. Should be a little stab and run. That’s one way to make three. Ran upong for his third consecutive birdie. And third child of John Catlin at the par five on the way much like he did at the par five sixth using his wedge Khaled Atier from Saudi Arabia Be careful on this downhill birdie attempt. Oh, well done by Ahmad with its dying breath. Be teetering a little downhill and should have a little bit of movement off his left. Somehow always looked as if it was going to just make it, wasn’t it? The hole. It’s a lovely visual point for him to imagine this ball rolling over. It’s going to be coming downhill. Just turning a little left. He’s got that confidence over the ball that we got so used to seeing last year. He’s coming out of the rough. All depends on how thick the lie is for Helgrren. One of the longer players in the field, Akmed able to get his T-shot in the green side bunker. Get in Ahmed V Eagle this backside. Working unbelievably well for Ahmad. Second into the shot for third for Jack Thompson. Another fine shot from the Aussie. And for Bo Kim, he has plenty of experience. He’s been at this pro game for a long time. Ninetime winner on the Korean Tour. And if he doesn’t get his card on the Asian Tour for next season, he still has a full season on the Korean Tour. So, not feeling as much stress, even more so now with that beautiful curling putt. Ranapong to get to within one of Bjorn Helgrren. Ranana Pong. Great putt at the 17th. Playing the cornfairy to he may have learned quite a bit. Well, if Bjorn Elgen can knock this one in, he’ll be back into a two-shot lead. And he has. I’m at big at 17. It’s another lovely shot from the Pakistani. He really is playing well under all sorts of pressure. Oh, this could be interesting. Eagle opportunity for Jack Thompson. A par putt for Hellgrren. Oh no. Now Bo Kim safely into the final two rounds. Make that a little bit better. Bo into the top 10 with the Eagle at the final hole. It’s been all pars on the back nine for Samson. Trying to keep it that way. Get up and down for par. Chi-Chang. Oh, this is good. Oh, that’s good. And now Jack Thompson get to 13 under and take the lead on his own. A brilliant brown thus far by Jack Thompson. Six birdies, no bogeies. [Music] Just a hole ahead at the eighth. Urban Changot well to the right. Unfortunately, he had a gap and took full use. Let’s get back over to the seventh. 16th hole for Jack Thompson. Lead could change hands here again if the Oussie can hold this. And he has. Sixth birdie of the own for the man from Adelaide. Another birdie chance for Jack Thompson, our leader. Yes, another one drops. This is the man who’s been struggling. 62nd in the order of merit. 15 under and the lead is now three with a hole to play in this second round. Lovely round by the Swede. It’s a 65 finishes on 13 under. So there’s how it looks. Not quite the end of play, but pretty close to it. Only a couple of groups left on the golf course, and they’re not going to affect the top of the leaderboard. Jack Thompson leading Bjö Helgrren by one and Alvin Chang and Chanabong Yupong by two.
