Stood getting a club out of the bag on the back of a cart when my mate attempted to pull up behind and hit the accelerator rather than the brake and squashed my right leg in between the two.

Not broken but 2 days in hospital so they can monitor me to ensure I avoid compartment syndrome and an operation.

Golf is hard enough already without this!

He at least owes you a round of golf and a box of ProV1s

Sounds like your buddy is, at the very least, covering your greens fees (and I presume cart fees as well) for the foreseeable future.

    Speedy recovery homie!

  3. Your buddy owes you a new driver and box of ProV1s

That dude’s not allowed to drive anymore!!
I winced as I read your tale of woe. Godspeed on your recovery!

I once saw a guy get seriously hurt with a golf cart. He was putting his clubs on back of his cart. The guy behind turned on his cart and it was already in gear

That dude in the next bed looks dead 😬

Brother rest up and will pray you come back stronger.

I got into golf because of a serious knee injury from another sport. You will heal up quick and come back stronger.

2 days in the hospital? Hope you’re not in the US.

In the words of DJ Khaled “brother you got insurance?”

  10. Take two seconds to crop out the stranger across from you laying in a hospital bed.

Watched a guy this summer speeding up to the tee we were on. We couldn’t hit yet, and were waiting. He flew around the corner with his foot out. Hit a bump and his ankle basically got wrapped around the rear tire. All kinds of broken.

2 days in the hospital for a banged shin?

    Are you insane?

I would’ve finished the round if it weren’t broken.

I bet that was best hit your buddy had all day. Wishing you a fast recovery.

  15. I have chronic compartment syndrome. Similar but not as painful as acute compartment syndrome. Hopefully you avoid that surgery. Nothing like your calf muscle filleted like a salmon.

Dude you’re good. I’ve seen the prequel to this movie, Rookie of The Year, you’re going to be like that kid and develop super human abilities after this heals and BANG you’ll be asked to join the Crushers on the LIV tour. Congrats on the fortune

With friends like that, who needs enemies?

Sounds like your mate owes you 6 strokes a side until the swelling goes away
