PGA Tour Pro Sunungj shut down the rumors surrounding him joining Aliy Golf. The new season of the Saudi League will start in February 2026 and ahead of that there’s been speculation that the South Korean golfer is expected to join the league. Knuckler Golf has shared the news on its ex formerly Twitter account and was quick to reply to the rumors and he shared a screenshot of the post on his Instagram story. He shared it with a two-word message and a thumbs down emoji. Sunjm is currently enjoying time away from the Greens. The 2025 Eliv Golf season wrapped up with its finale in August and there’s still a few months to go before the start of the new season. When Elivy Golf started back in 2022, some big names such as Phil Mickelson, Sergio Garcia, Dustin Johnson, Brooks Kepka, and Bryson Dambo joined the league. Ahead of the 2024 season, John signed a deal with L Ivy Golf. Sunj last played on the PGA tour at the Bayern Classic. He had a decent outing at the event and finished in T20 position. He started the campaign with an opening round of 71 and then played the next three rounds of 70, 67, and 68 that IM enjoyed an amazing season on the PGA Tour in 2025. He started his campaign on the tour at the season opening the century which was held at Capalua Resort. He had an impressive outing and carded the four rounds of 69, 67, 62, and 65 to settle in third place. However, after a phenomenal start to the season, the South Korean golfer struggled in his next outing at the American Express. He carted the three rounds of 77, 65, and 68 Sanjay and next played at the Farmers Insurance Open. He started the campaign with an opening round of 69, but then struggled in the next round and carded 71. He played the next two rounds of 72 and 71 and tied for fourth place and earned $418,500 in prize money. However, after a few decent finishes, he struggled in the next few tournaments. He was close to a win in the Masters event where he started the campaign with an opening round of 71 and then played the next three rounds of 70, 71, and 69 to settle in a tie for fifth place. Some of his other notable finishes from this season on the PGA Tour are T11 at the RBC Heritage, T33 at the CJ Cup Byron Nelson, and T16 at the Memorial Tournament.
